I just got my dress back from alterations yesterday. I liked how it looked then, but now that I think that it sits too low and the bust needs to come up more. What do you think? If I do want to get this alterred again, do I have time? There’s only six more weeks until the wedding.

Was it comfortable when you had it on? It does look like it will slide right down if you move in any direction. If you pull it up, does it stay up? What happens if you raise your arms like if you were dancing?
If you aren’t feeling right in it,you have plenty of time to get it fixed.

No, it wouldn’t stay up when I pull it up. I don’t think it will slide down anymore. The picture about is basically where the dress “settles”. I just think that the cups look funny, like they’re too low.

I’d go back and tell the alterations person what you’re thinking about and see what they can do about it. Good luck!

You should deff have time. I would ask alterations what they can do to make you feel better!

I would put on your jewelry before you make a decision. The fit looks right now and maybe you just feel like there’s a lot of open skin.

I agree with rachelss, try your jewelry on before you make a decision. It does look like it fits to me. But you definitely should have time to have additional alterations done if you still feel like you need to. 🙂

I think it looks right. If you’re concerned though that it shows too much skin you can add some more fabric on the top area of the bust – like organza or lace.
The dress looks really nice on you.
