Is anyone else feeling the time squeeze now that the holidays are over? I really didn’t get anything wedding-wise done in December. Lots to do in January! What are your first of the year to-dos?
– Find florist
– Send Save the Dates
– Start cake tasting
– Begin research on registries and make list of what we want to register for
– Shop (again and more) for bridesmaid dresses
– Make headway on napkin and overlay sewing

I don’t even have a venue yet, but we did find a photographer 🙂

First of the year:
Find a Florist
Figure out what happened to my photographer (picked her 2 weeks ago, hasn’t returned any of my messages..wth?)
Shop for Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses
Start working on a registry
Make and Send STD’s (yes that’s right we don’t even have them yet!)
as long as I get those things done in January, i think i’ll be on track for the rest of the “to do” stuff until the wedding …….i think. 🙂

1) Find a florist or decide to DIY
2) Start working on invitations (DIY)
3) Discuss ceremony music with the pianist at our venue
I also need to do some planning for my MOH’s bridal shower that I’m throwing in April.

I didn’t even get engaged til Jan 7th! Today our moms are looking at our top venues, we’ll find a church or get married on the golf course. Got a photography who’s open either day but i’m cheering for July 2nd 2011. I’m having problems with a dj, but i’m sure that will work out. I also have my dress i need to get it sent here so that I can start on the alterations its a size 6 i’m a size 2. Searching for bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dresses, ect.

I’m definitely kicking planning into high gear now that the holidays are over and it’s finally 2011! We recently booked our baker and started registering, and we’ll be choosing the guys’ tuxes this weekend. We ordered bridesmaids dresses over the holidays, too.
