If you were like me, you probably ate a lot of salads before your wedding. After my wedding on Saturday (it is now Thursday), I had a huge binge fest and have gained 3 pounds! How much did you gain after your wedding?

I lost 10 pounds within 2 weeks of my wedding. I was actually eatin a tub of chocolate before my last dress fitting because I couldn’t keep on the weight with all of the stress. I had put that 10 pounds all back on by the time I got back from my wedding and within 6 months had gained an additional 7. Stay healthy and enjoy being married just don’t follow your Darling Husband if he has any bad takeout habits.

I haven’t had my wedding yet, but we’re going to France, and there’s NO WAY I’m not eating a baguette & drinking lots of red wine (oh, and enjoying desserts). Usually, I eat sugar & grain free, so I’m guessing I should pack some loose clothing

I gained 10 lbs over the year after my wedding. Didn’t go on a honeymoon or anything so I didn’t really have an excuse to eat a ton at once but we moved a bit afterward so we had a lot of takeout.

I gained 15lbs after my wedding lol. I blame our all inclusive honeymoon and then the stress of trying to get everything organized the last couple of months! I am now back on track now and I’ve already lost 5lbs.

I lost 17 lbs for the wedding and I’ve gained 5 back–not too bad, but I’m definitely not in as good of shape as I was for the wedding. Darling Husband and I are going to join a gym this weekend…I need to remotivate myself!

I haven’t had my wedding yet..but thankfully I will continue having things to look forward to after the wedding, so I can’t gain any weight. We’re getting married in August, we’re going to Mexico in December for our honeymoon, my good friend is getting married in March ’13 (I’m a bridesmaid) and then my cousin is getting married at the end of June ’13. I am also a bridesmaid in that wedding.
So overall, I need to keep my weight down! lol

I had NO appetite the weekend of the wedding, and I barely ate a thing. It returned with a vengeance on the honeymoon, and at an all inclusive resort, that’s not a good thing. Since we returned, I’ve been biking everyday for 50 minutes in the morning, and back to my pre-wedding eating habits. I haven’t weighed myself (I’m kinda scared to!), but I’m not super worried. Exercise and better eating is a normal part of my life now – the overeating on the honeymoon was the anamoly.

I gained 5 lbs right after our wedding. I blame this on our Destination Wedding in Hawaii, they looooove salt in their food out there.
I’m now in the process of working out like a maniac to lose this weight and the weight that I didn’t end up losing pre-wedding. Whomp whomp.

I’ve gained 8lbs in the past 8 months – 1 pound for every month of wedded bliss *sigh* I’d like to lose 10 lbs.

I think about 7 lbs, thank goodness. I didn’t intend to loose weight before the wedding but did and really wish i’d been a couple of pounds heavier. It was like “congrats! you’ve gained a wedding ring and lost your boobs and ass.” Woop-de-doo.

I dropped about 12 pounds before my wedding (most in the last month, and a little on accident I had only planned on dropping about 5). After the wedding I went up about 7 pound after the first two months and now I’m down to about 3 pounds more than my wedding weight. I did have to refocus myself and get back into working out and eating right, but it’s been worth it if only just because it gives me a break from school work!

My wedding was 7 months ago and I’ve gained 8 pounds. NOT GOOD!!! I wasn’t even at my goal weight on my wedding day, and now I’m going backwards!

My wedding was last May. Between May and November after the wedding I gained 20lbs which was pretty much everything I’d been so dilligent at losing with WW before the wedding. I decided I couldn’t let my “7 month vacation” from being active and eating healthy continue so I went back to weight watchers in December and starting running. 5 months later, I’ve lost the weight I gained and feel SO much better than I did about myself just 5 months ago. I think it’s about forgiving yourself, no matter how much you gained, and moving on rather than beating yourself up over it.

I had lost 21 lbs before the wedding, and have put 12 lbs back on post wedding. I’m working on tyring to swing things back the other way. 🙂
