… find yourself searching the internet for coupons/coupon codes like mad?! lol.
before wedding planning, if i had a coupon – cool; no biggie if i didn’t.
now that i’m planning, i find myself scavenging the internet for coupons/coupon codes all the frickin’ time! i’m like a crazy person who has to have her regular fix of discount goodness, lol.
case in point:
– i ordered all the photos we’ll need for out std’s from walgreens’ photo center, and before i hit the submit button, i did a quick search and scored a 25% off coupon code – sweet! btw, if you’re looking to order photos from walgreens, the code i used was HAPPY25 (exp: march 6, 2010). and boy way i happy, haha!
– i’m planning on going to michaels after work today to pick up a new corner rounder (b/c the first one i got majorly sucks), so naturally i searched for a coupon and found one for 50% off any one regular priced item – double score!! click here to share in my michaels coupon goodness. 🙂 <- expires march 6, 2010
it might sound a little (ok, ok A LOT) nutty, but i get all giddy and excited and feel accomplished when i score discounts, lol. does anybody else feel all crazy-empowered like i do when they get discounts? are you a crazy internet coupon stalker like me??

You’re not the only one. I have been actually cutting coupons Sunday mornings. That’s so unlike me, but I love saving money where I can.

OMG YES! First of all, excellent scores! Second, I totally do this ALL. THE. TIME. Never used to care. But I just bought FI’s wedding band, and right before I purchased, I searched for a coupon, and got $10 off! Not a ton, but his is titanium so it was only $120–so I felt super accomplished! You’re not crazy!

fi and i went to michaels a few weeks ago, and i insisted on buying as many supplies/materials for the std’s that we’d need then b/c i had a 20% off entire purchase coupon with me! we also had a 40% off one item coupon, so we picked the most expensive item, and fi got in a separate line to pay for it, lol. we used two coupons, same visit, and got the larget discount possible, haha!

Yes! Between the wedding and buying a home, I look for bargains and discounts everywhere I can! And like you, I just love scoring a great deal. 🙂

haha! that’s great. I’m a loyal coupon code gal, too – my fav sites are retailmenot.com and slickdeals.net (but honestly, i really just browse on there most of the time). And specialty sale sites, like Rue La La. Super deals on there!

constantly search for the best wedding blogs – – – YES…I didn’t know the first thing about blogging since I found WB. Everything I write always sounds like I am really talking. Now I know what blogging is all about – – I love blogs that are wedding related only….

Totally! I recently learned that you can use multiple % off single item coupons at the same time at Michael’s, as long as they’re different types. I had one from the flyer, one from my email, and one on a receipt from there and they let me use all 3! We’ve also done the separate lines thing too – hey, 40% off can be a big deal!

Actually, yes! Not so much because of the wedding expenses, but now that we are going to combine our finances I feel like I need to be a lot more frugal with how I spend my $. I am using sites like lifebooker to get discounts on highlights and facials and waiting for sales before buying clothes.

I really should be like that. I love the idea of coupons, but I’m the worst! If I cut out or find a coupon, chances are I’m going to forget to use it. I have got to get better at it! Not just because of the wedding, but I think we’ll always be saving for something so every penny will count!

i drove my happy little (err, big!) butt down to michael’s during lunch with my handy dandy little 50% off coupon in tow, and walked out with a new rotary paper cutter and down $20. it was originally priced at $40! 🙂
