(Closed) NSCS Honor Society? Is it worth it?

I am a member.. it hasn’t done anything for me. 

 

I was also inducted in the early 2000’s.

I joined back in 2005….I don’t feel like it was worth it or I received any benefit from it.  I just remember sending them a check for something like $100 and they sent me a paper certificate and a ton of emails.  I did put it on my resume when I was looking for internships, not sure if it helped….

I joined in college. It was pretty worthless to me. I think the only honor society that really helped on my resume is Phi Beta Kappa because it has a pull of prestige with people, particularly people over the age of 40 who remember is being a much bigger deal (it’s the oldest honor society in the US and most selective).
