I was a boy band floozy, I loved them all, lol! NSYNC, BSB, 98 Degrees, LFO, 5ive.. all of them. My bedroom was COVERED ceiling to floor in posters. I’m even going to the NKOTBSB concert in July. But yes, there will probably be a song or two by boybands played at the receptions, lol.

They (BSB) were my first concert, gotta stay loyal. πŸ˜‰ As far as the question, most likely. Fiance knows the songs by heart too. haha

Woah, wait a minute! I have to say, as an avid BSB fan, you cannot lump BSB and Nsync together! I was a major anti-Nsync fan. I owned all the bsb cd’s, went to their concert, and still listen to them in the car! I don’t own anything of nsync, haha. But yes, I do plan on playing bsb! πŸ™‚

I think I can convince Mr.ND to have a 90’s section where we play those songs/bands you secretly love but will never admit. We’ve already decided that our reception/dance will be ‘family friendly’ up until around 10:00, from there on out it’s his hard rock music, my club songs, current pop and a little 90s throwback πŸ™‚ Hopefully the kiddos are all in bed!

I don’t know about BSB or N*Sync, but we’re probably doing 3 Justin songs… “Like I Love You” for recessional, “Sexyback” for first song where everyone’s called to the dance floor, and “My Love” for cake cutting.  I love Justin!

i must be a tad older than most of you ladies (i am 30 so not that old!), but for me there was NKOTB above and before any other boy band. and to this day i am a HUGE NKOTB fan!  i was also a huge BSB fan (side note, i AM going to the NKOTBSB concert – smartest career move those groups ever made in my opinion!)…..and i will 100% be playing both NKOTB and BSB songs at my wedding reception.  it would not be possible to go without them!

YESSS!

And unlike most of the others that have posted so far, my bf was actually very into the boy bands when they were popular as well. (He grew up in a different country, where it wasn’t considered to be emasculating for guys to listen to that stuff.)

We’re not even close to being engaged yet, but I’m sure he’d be down with some *NSYNC, BSB, and Westlife at our hypothetical wedding. Smile

I was definitely obsessed with NSync.  I look back now and shake my head.  But I wouldn’t play any of their music during my wedding/reception.  I find those songs more amusing at a bar setting and all the drunk girls go insane.

ETA: BUT I do plan to play some 80s music.  J and I are HUGE fans.  It’s absolutely ridiculous.  My mother will roll her eyes.  She absolutely hates that decade.  Can’t wait hahaha.

I went to see BSB last august, and I’m going to see BSB/NKOTB in June, the weekend after my wedding!
