I have been thinking a lot lately about how I would love to do a nude (yet tasteful) photo shoot. I’m wondering if anyone else would be open to this, or has done this, and what are your thoughts on it?
I would obviously have to be extremely comfortable with the photographer, and know if/where the photos would be published. My SO says he would be comfortable with me doing this (and I know he’s telling the truth) as long as I felt safe and happy about it.
Just curious what others think about this.

What is it for, may I ask? I would totally do thisfor a xmas present or something for my SO. But thats about it!

Darling Husband and I had a good friend who’s a photographer stay with us last weekend, and while he was out of the house, she took some tasteful lingerie and nude photos of me (to give to him as a Christmas gift). I don’t know that I could have done it if it wasn’t her taking them (and even then, it took two glasses of wine before I started to relax). Me, her and Darling Husband are the only ones who will ever see them. I also wanted her to take them (as opposed to a stranger) because I don’t think Darling Husband would be okay with anyone else seeing me naked. I think he’ll be okay because we know and trust our friend, but if I had booked a photographer that he didn’t know, I think he probably would have been upset.

I would probably do it just for the experience. SO and I have done this already just the two of us, so I don’t think that I would do it just as a surprise for him. I just always think nude photos, when they are done the right way, are so beautiful, and I think it would really help me realize all the things there are to love about my own body.
I am curious about why so many women wouldn’t be open to this. I feel like it would be totally liberating.

5 years ago I would have. I was a lot less modest than I am now. I still might think about it…but Darling Husband would not be okay with anyone else seeing me naked, and I respect that.

Lets be frank, I do not have the body to be posing for any kind of nude photos but even if I did, I would never do this. It’s just not something that I would ever be comfortable with.

I would. I was actually thinking about this in the shower this morning.LOL (I’d really love to do one in the shower because the shower head is the rainfall, over your head kind *happy sigh*) I’d only get my SO to take them though. He’s not down with another person seeing me naked.

I would just not be comfortable at all doing this. Teddy is WAAAAY more shy than I am so he would DEFINATELY never do this..you couldnt even pay him to! I just have always been modest…I dont even like changing in front of people in the locker room at the gym!

I did topless and full nude shots as part of my boudoir pics. I really love how they turned out. They were taken by a female photographer who specialized in b-pics and they’re very artistically done. If I could I would blur my face and some body parts and post a couple here to give you an idea but I lack the photoshopping skills for it 🙂 Even in the ones where I was fully nude, there are no crass centerfold style, full frontal pics. I wouldn’t have been comfortable with a male photographer and neither would my husband. Although I’m sure most of them are very professional I would’ve felt too shy. I also obviously would NEVER let them be published, and I would never do it for a paid ad, magazine etc. My body is not for sale and not for public consumption. However I quiet enjoy looking at them now myself. My body will probably never look that good again 10-20 years from now but I will always have these reminders.

Only if I took them myself. Even then, I wouldn’t feel comfortable dark room printing them.

I HATE changing at the gym too! I am super modest and shy. I don’t even like going to the doctor.

I did a boudoir shoot for my Fiance. The shoot took place in a hotel room with a well known female photographer in my area. It was a great experience and I am glad that I did it. I did not take any full nude shots, but I had no desire to do that. Some of the shots were topless though.
I am not a perfect body or very skinny. The experience was a great one for me and it felt liberating to pose for those photos.
In terms of publishing, I signed a contract that prohibited the photographer from publishing the photos on her blog etc without my permission.
Once I got the boudoir photos, I created a calendar that I had printed for a gift for my husband.

I voted for “only with my partner” – by which I meant only if my husband was the one behind the camera. 🙂
I’ve told him I’m happy to let him take dirty pictures of me anytime he wants (on our digital camera, and we would put them on a password protected cd and not on the computer).
Other than that, I can’t see myself ever going nude.

If the photographer were a female friend of mine, I don’t think I’d hesitate to do some tasteful nude shots. However, if I didn’t know the photographer, I wouldn’t be comfortable.
