@Kkaattii:  Once a week? Do you feel bloated all the time?

Maybe we should have a post about how often people go…

OMG, these stories are making me crack up!  I had to share that Darling Husband used to be a shy pooper.  He doesn’t like going in public places, but that’s more for the germ factor.  He’ll poop in front of me now with no problem.  However, when he was in HS, he went to visit a girl he had a crush on, (she had moved away to another state, and obviously long before I was in the picture).  Stayed with her for a week and didn’t poop a single time!  I was like, “OMG, how did you not make yourself sick, or shit your pants or something?!”

@Kkaattii:  WHAAAAAAT????  How do you go only once a week?  I think I would die!  I poop at least once a day, more often two to three times a day.

As someone with some serious tummy troubles, I can’t help if I have to go poop at work. There are moments when I get hit with “the sweats” and I know if I don’t get to a washroom ASAP, we’re in trouble. I do try to go to the one down the hall, that serves the whole building, rather than the one directly in our suite, but there are times it cannot be avoided. I always spray the bathroom with air freshener, but it doesn’t always do the trick.

In fact, today I saw my supervisor walk in shortly after me, and the promptly walk out. I was mortified… If I could choose to go in the comfort of my own home, I would certainly choose that!!

Yep, only once a week- maybe twice if i’m lucky. Unless i’m on my period then I poo every day so I guess that balances me out? Sorry Too Much Information haha. I guess I don’t know what bloated feels like because i’ve been like that as long as I can remember. I had to go to the hospital once because I had such bad stomach pains I thought I was going to die. They took an X-Ray, I had poop up to my 3rd rib (counting from the top of the ribcage going down) haha i’m always constipated.

….now that I just made it all awkward lol

Yeah, I can’t at work or in public if there are stalls.  My old job had a private bathroom in the back of the office and I had no problem going when nature called.  I am sure if there was a big time potty emergency, I would go no matter but that hasn’t happened yet in the past 7 months I’ve been there.

Side note:  It always cracks me up when I go into a stall, and there is clearly someone sitting in the next stall super still and silent just waiting for me to leave.  I always make those potty visits quick b/c I personally don’t want to hear or smell that ish 🙂

I hate opinions like the OP’s.  Pooing and gas are natural body functions, yet people make comments when women have these in public washrooms.  Holding either in can cause medical issues, and many women feel self-conscious about it anyway.

Can we not create an environment where people are able to comfortably defecate or fart as loudly and as stinky as is needed?

As my grandmother used to say, It’s better to go and be in shame than not to go and be in pain.”  I strategically choose the bathrooms I use and ALWAYS give a courtesy flush!  I eat a balanced diet so I don’t have horrific smelling poops, LoL.

@KatNYC2011 +1 (or should I say +2 lol)

I hate going in public but my poops have a schedule and it happens to be at work. If you eat a healthy diet, you literally have to go right then.

I hate going if it’s a stall situation.  I’m lucky where I work, we have single restrooms and one of them is really secluded.  We joke around and call it the EBR (emergency bathroom) because that’s where everyone goes to poop!

I’m laughing at this post because it made me remember years ago when I first moved to college and the dorm restrooms were stalls, I could never go!  I located every secluded restroom on campus so I could avoid going in the dorm building.  The next year I moved to an apartment with more privacy, but that first year was awful, I was in pain all the time from trying to hold it!

I’m on schedule, and I certainly won’t mess it up, even if it’s at work.

Too Much Information warning:

This may be really weird, but I’m a very fast pooper.
Silent too. And rarely smelly… so why not do it at work?

hahah I never thought I’d be bragging about my #2 abilities…Innocent

I will if necessary, but I prefer to go at home.  I go home for lunch everyday and only work 7 hour days, so I’m not stuck at work for a long period of time.  Luckily I have a private bathroom at work, so it’s not a big deal at all when I do go, and I’m pretty sure no one even notices.
