do you have a photo of the vase so we get an idea of how large they are?

i’m not that versed in DIY flowers so i’m hoping another member can answer your question.

but i do know the rule of thumb is to always use odd #s in your arrangements.

It really depends on the size of the vase, the size of the daisy, and what type of look you want.  I would imagine that you would want enough room for the fish to swim around, so it may look very whimiscal if there are just a few blooms.  If Sam’s Club sells cut flowers that you can buy by the dozen (It’s been a while since I’ve been there, but I know Costco does), I would recommend doing a trial run on one vase that way you will have an exact count and you would know how long it takes to make each piece.

Rhitpixiebride is right on track.

Go buy some stems and do a trial run- preferably with the fish so you can make sure the stems don’t obstruct their ability to swim (and that any flower food the stems might have been in isn’t toxic to fish).

You can always try some different numbers of stems and put them on this board for a vote of what looks best!
