We had a 1.5 hour session and got about 300 edited pictures back. Our photographer said that was way more than usual but she couldn’t narrow them down any further. Typically, she said she returns 75-100 photos.

Our photographer said she usually narrows it down to about 50 shots from an hour shot. We ended up with 100

I give 20-40. 25-35 is my average. More if its a styled shoot because of the “detail” shots. Im about solid images, Im not giving repetitive poses.

Some of the numbers listed above are Really high for a two hour E session.

Just wrapped up our e-shoot. It was about an hour long and he told us to expect 30-50 images back in the next week.

I’m a photographer and promise 50 high resolution photos for a 1 hour session. Sometimes when it’s hard to narrown down I give closer to 70. I agree with pp that 300 and upwards of 100 is super high…. I make sure my shots are quality, and mostly all different poses which I find way more important than the quantity. I would rather have 5 amazing photos than 100 average ones.

Engagement sessions average 20-50 images. Remember, it’s about quality not quantity 🙂
