I like the navy room!  I feel like Ive seen a similar pattern somewhere recently… Target?  TJ Maxx?

I definitely think that you could find a “copy-cat” rug somewhere…

The brown scheme will show better without you having to repaint in 3-5 years, if that’s a factor. I think they are both lovely! I’m partial to the blue, but I would imagine repainting a 3 year old’s room would be a pain!

Oh, and look on Overstock.com for similar rugs for way less. That’s a very trendy pattern right now, so you could definitely find it for cheaper. I think you get a 10% off coupon for signing up for their emails, too!

Edited – last link didnt work

I kept looking at this rug which is similar…  I know you have a very specific vision – but figured i would send it!  ๐Ÿ™‚

I voted for the navy/white/gold – but i think you should go with a matte, mustardy kind of gold instead of a shimery gold to make it more manly.

@wifegoodman:  A lot of the decor ideas don’t seem like nursery decor. I like the beige and white walls and the animals. The navy, gold chandelier, and white chair are nice but don’t seem like they belong in a nursery.

I like option 3. But it doesn’t seem light and airy. I think more white/beige and light blue would be airy.
