With the size, I think it would be hard to use them for storage on their own, but you could totally use them to decorate other containers.  You could:

Cut a slit down the length of the tube.  Add a piece of foam to the top to make that flower pot top, and paint the appropriate color.  Slide around any piece of furniture that has a spindle type leg- like a changing table, shelf or rocking chair.

Cut the whole tub in half- longways (you should end up with two “C” shaped pieces not two short tubes) Again add foam to make the flower pot lip, and and paint.  Hot glue to items like a hamper, basket, toy box as decor. If you glue 3 or more in a row, you could even stagger them a little to give that staircase effect they have in the game.

You could do the front of a dresser with the idea above- just line up smaller sections on each drawer.

Make a toy with them- get a box or plastic basin.  Tape a set of 3 or so to the inside of the box. Find a good size ball, stuffed animal or other toy that can be dropped down the tube into the box. (better for an older baby not an infant, make sure whatever item you are dropping is big enough they can’t choke)

Cut some down to 3-6″ tall, paint and hot glue to each other in a row.  Use to store baby powder, lotion, etc on the changing table.

Use a smaller section as a curtain tieback

Hope that helps!

I would try to use them as the wall decor.  My doctor’s office has Aspen tree trunks on one wall that are really cool.  The built a base that they fixed them in.

Or… as the curtain panels.  You can hang them at different heights and painted different colors.

Or… as a giant mobile hanging from the ceiling.

I’ve also seen on pinterest, where they took a shelf and glued the lego sheet on it and then you can make your lego figure and secure it to the shelf.  So you could make a bench or large shelf with the lego sheet glued down and then glue lego sheet to the bottom of your tube and mount the shelf on the wall.

Go onto pinterest and look for superhero or mario brothers. Lots of ideas that might get you thinking of a spinoff version

I’m not sure if this helps or not but if you really want to do something with “pipes” you could always do something like this and then paint the pipes green. That way it’s decorative and functional too.

OR if you really want to use the cardboard tubes you could put wood shelves at a few different levels and have the pipes look like they’re going through the shelves. Does that make sense?
