Fiance and I went to Germany as our first vacation. We stayed at a hotel with a continental breakfast which had croissants filled with nutella. I was so in love with them, that I booked the same hotel on the way home just to have more.
We were long distance at the time, so after he went home, he baked me a batch of nutella filled croissants, and mailed them to me. It was so incredibly sweet (in more ways than one!).

OK, I need to find some of this Nutella goodness. I’ve never tried it before! In fact, I think I’ve only ever heard it mentioned a few times, a long time ago. It really is this common? I want to try it! Where do you find this in the store? I’ve never seen it!

Ummmmm…I’m not allowed to buy it anymore. I will eat it with a spoon until it’s gone. At one point I had my husband hide the jar from me and he’d leave a spoon of it out for me every now and then. Buttt then I went off the deep end and ravaged the house trying to find it haha. Now I can only drool as I walk past it at the store. ๐

@Jenn23: I buy mine at Target. It was a while before I started seeing it in regulars stores, having first tasted it while my dad was stationed in Germany (they sell it at the commissary on base so we were always able to have some whereever we moved).
But try Target, your regular grocery stores or even Cost Plus World Market!

Gut reaction when I saw this thread:
“Must open thread and tell OP she is crazy!!!”
I got so caught up in my Pro-Nutella mania that I missed your sarcasm

Has anyone seen the individual packs at Wal-Mart? I saw them in the checkout line the other day – they had Nutella on one side, and wafer cracker sticks on the other – for UNDER 200 calories!

@brox: I LOVE Biscoff spread. My husband travels and fell in love with the Bisoff cookies on Delta’s flights. I didn’t believe him when he said they were delicious. A co-worker randomly mentioned the spread and that it’s sold at a local store that sells a lot of gourmet type items. We ran out that day and bought some. It is a jar of amazing-ness. I spread it on apple slices.

I just had a genius idea–I wonder if my baker can use Nutella for the cake filling. NOM!

I just eat it straight out of the jar with a spoon. It’s so…… good I have to keep myself from eating the whole jar.
