I have been on it for about 6 months now and haven’t had any problems like I did with my other pills.  It has less of an effect on my sex drive than other pills, plus I love how easy it is.  It does take a bit of getting used to putting it in, I fold mine in half and then push it as far in as I can.  It will find a place to stay on its own, I haven’t had a problem with it falling out.

NuvaRing is AWESOME.  I mean, if you are close with your partner (and I am assuming you are if you’re on weddingbee lol) then it’s really a non-issue during sex.  You can take it out for I think an hour total during the 3 weeks if needed.

I have never had a problem with it.  My periods are lighter and shorter than ever before, and I’ve been on it nearly 3 years.  I can’t say enough good things about it.

I didn’t have any issues with it falling out or being uncomfortable, but I still really didn’t like it.  It got in the way of sex and was just plain weird.  When I had it though I was in a rather “new” (rebound) relationship, so there wasn’t a level of intamacy like one would have with a long term boyfriend/fiance/husband.

I still doubt that I would give it a go again.  I don’t have any issues with the pill, and it doesn’t get in the way of getting physical.  🙂

I love it.  I’m too forgetful for the Pill, and even though I wouldn’t ever actually miss a day the fact that I wasn’t taking it at the exact same time would stress me out.  I tried the shot and that made me fat, depressed, and never want to have sex, haha, so obviously that had to go!  I’ve been on the ring for 6 months now and I have nothing bad to say about it.  Sometimes I have to take it out and re-adjust it, but other then that I would say 99% of the time I don’t even notice that it’s there.

Overall, I liked it.  It was much better than some of the other BC I’ve tried.  When I’m ready to go back onto BC after I have a kid, I’ll definitely go back.

I’ve been on it for about 10 months and I love it! Pills killed my sex drive and made me moody and I was never consistant about it taking it at the same time.  The Nuvaring is so easy, and I don’t have any side effects from it.

I had problems with cramping.. like horrible period cramping. I think that may have meant that it had gotten shoved up too far in there OR that I needed to take it out during sex so that it wasn’t irritating from rubbing. Also, for some reason, I kept getting infections while I was on it. NOT COOL! But, I enjoyed how low maintenance it was.

I was on it for two months.  It was the worst two months of my life.  I’ve never broken out before and now I have perminant scars from the acne I got in those two months.  I was b1tchy and emotional and had NO desire to have sex… when I did it HURT.

I know not everyone is the same, but my friend was on it at the same time and we both had the same experience… at the time we weren’t close enough to talk about those things so it wasn’t a case of one of use had the symptoms and the other just thought they did…

I’d never recommend it to anyone.

I loved it. Never had to worry about it, and had no issues with it at all.

Only trouble was that I had breakthrough bleeding, so my doctor switched me to a new medicine now. I don’t even remember what it’s called.

And now I know why I miss the Nuvaring – I forgot to take my new  pill before I left home. CRAP!

@BrookeClouser: I have NEVER had an issue with it falling out or being uncomfortable during foreplay or sex, but you could do either if it does come out.  You can take it out for up to 3 hours and it won’t affect its effectiveness.

It wont come out…the only prob I had with it was that it made me a little nauseated a couple of days after inserting a new one.

I’ve had it come out before and whenever we’re done, I go put it back in.  BostonBee is right, you have a couple hours to put it back in and it won’t affect it’s effectiveness.

Oh I don’t know if this was mentioned or not, but my Darling Husband didn’t feel it when it was in.
