I am in the process of locking my hair so I just put a satin bonnet on at night. Sometimes I forget and end up looking like coolio in the morning…but a hot shower with a plastic shower cap usually puts everything back in place. I started the locking process 4 months ago and prior to that it was braids, braids, braids so I would just plait it and go to sleep. As long as the cap isn’t on during “adult time” Fiance doesn’t care.

I put on a silk scarf and cover with a satin bonnet. Strangely Fiance kind of likes teh look, thinks it is cute, or associates it with me or whatever:)

I wrap mine every night with a satiny wrap thing. Luckily, my Fiance doesn’t have a problem with it all and thinks I look pretty with it on regardless 🙂

I have locks, so I a lot of times I forget to put anything on before I go to bed. But since they are getting longer they get in the way (husband lays on them) so I wear a scarf. I’ve had the same silk (well, fake silk) scarf since I was in junior high school–that thing has stayed with me through perms, braids, and being natural.

I twirl mine into a high bun to keep my curls.

Sometimes I tie it with a scarf, otherwise sleep on a satin pillowcase.

I suck at wrapping my hair. Okay…no, that’s not true. I can wrap it just fine. I suck at getting my scarf to stay on all night. I can never get anything to stay on my head all night. Any suggestions out be great!!!

@souliganprincess: I will look into it. I might have to stop at Sally’s after work.

My hair is crocheted right now so I sleep with it out. I get my hair done every 6 weeks- it has been growing really well!

I’m natural and I go to sleep on it out.  Sometimes, I think I should wear a satin cap to keep it more moisturized but it looks great so I haven’t changed my routine.

@Miss Tattoo: lol I am the same way. The hair bonnet is the only thing that says on.
