I’ve always heard that something like 80% of women are wearing the wrong size bra..count me as one of them! I got measured over the weekend and found out that I have been wearing the wrong size bra for…pretty much my whole life I bought some nice ones that now fit correctly and the difference is pretty amazing–my girls are up where they’re supposed to be! And I’m guessing strapless bras will now stay up wayyy better than they were before.
Anyone else have a surprising experience with bra fittings?

I’ve tried sizing myself (they have a tutorial on the VS website) and it told me I’m wearing the right size. Well, actually I technically wear the wrong band size (one size bigger than I should) because it’s next to impossible to find my actual bra size 🙁

@amanda.lynn: I would try to go to a department store and get it done…I don’t really trust VS, because I’ve gotten like 3 different measurements from different saleswomen there. And I know we have some specialty stores here in NYC that carry a ton of different sizes…I bet there are on-line stores or some places in Austin that also do? And I was also wearing one band size bigger than I should be (I was wearing a 34B and am now wearing a 32B) and it feels so much more secure!

Yes I am def in the same boat!! Although the reason for me not wearing the correct bra size is because I lost some weight due to health issues and of course the boobs go first:( But I was completely off! I love my new bra size! LOL

I’m sure I am. My straps fall down which I know means my bras are too big around and the cups are either too big or too small. I went once to get measured a Fredericks’ – she measured me over my padded bra, even when I pointed it out to her, so I’m still stuck not knowing my true size. I need to suck it up and get an old fashioned, let-it-all-hang-out, measurement done.
