I love giving gifts! It was easy to not spend too much this year though with DH’s salary….i bet next year we buy too much!

Parents are so hard, though! i ended up buying my mom clothes and scarves and i got my dad some motorcycle shirts. Kind of lame presents I think =

I totally failed when it comes to my nieces.  We aren’t buying for anyone over 18 so four of them are little girls and one is 16.   We were trying to stick to the budget for each but i blew the budget on clothes for them… ANNND the SO bought for them too!

Between the wedding and Christmas I feel like I’m spending money like it’s going out of style!!! 🙂

I try so hard to plan out what I am going to get everyone but then little things always come along that I can’t resist. It’s the worst with my sister because I could probably find her a new gift everyday. Just when I think my shopping is finished, something too perfect to pass up comes along.

Oh yea! Just for the gifts that we’ve bought so far we’ve spent almost as much to cover our DJ and photographer! When I look at it that way, it’s crazy. Though, between mine and FI’s family we have about 25 people to buy for. The biggest gifts have been for our parents. My mom got a GPS, my dad got a new grill, my Future Mother-In-Law got a kindle and my Future Father-In-Law got an ice fishing shanty. We also got each of them a few smaller gifts as well. We really should have cut back this year with our wedding next year and all but Christmas is HUGE in my family.
