I think I could be more of a dog AND cat person if I weren’t allergic to cats.  I don’t necessarily dislike them, but I get stuffy & itchy around them… it makes for an unpleasant experience.

I also love ferrets and horses, but I can’t picture my life without my dogs ๐Ÿ™‚

I love MY dog but I’m leery of most dogs whereas I love pretty much all cats. So I’m a cat person with a dog, and no cat.

I love both!  I want a huge house filled with a ton of animals.  Haha.  DH would never allow that.

I have two cats, love dogs, and have talked Darling Husband into getting a Pygmy goat sometime in the future. I have no idea why I am obsessed with goats. My addiction to goat cheese might have something to do with it. /-:

I’m more of a dog person but I still think cats are pretty cool.  I can’t own one, though, due to allergies (at least not an indoor cat).  I like birds as pets, too.  ๐Ÿ™‚  And I used to like fish as pets until I saw them eating their own little fish babies.  That was the end of that for me, yuck.

Darling Husband and I are petless at the moment, though, since my beloved black lab passed away, of old age, into doggie heaven a couple of summers ago.  But it is nice having our backyard back, lol.

I’m a cat and a dog lover… well, really I’m an animal lover. The only type of ‘common pets’ that I haven’t had are birds and lizards. My brother is allergic to birds and I petsat for my friend’s lizard growing up. I’ve had chinchillas, cats, dogs, rats, hamsters, fish, etc…

Right now I just have a cat. ๐Ÿ™‚ We live in an apartment and it wouldn’t be fair to a dog for it to not have room to run and play.

I’m a cat person for sure.  I’ve worked with dogs and I have a dog, but I’ll always love my cats more.  They’re just so cuddly and sweet and… easy.

I’m way too allergic to cats to enjoy them, so I guess I am more of a dog person! I do love them.

Though I am tempted to vote “farm animals.” I grew up with sheep, geese, chickens, steer (castrated bull), and a goat. Pretty darn awesome to have that around when I was little! The goat was probably the coolest because we had her since she was a day old. She was bottle fed and lived in the house. She slept on the foot of my bed.

I think dogs are the best but that is because most cats are too aloof for me. If I have a pet I want it to like me and not just be the bringer of food. Though I have known some awesome cats. My cousins had one I am convinced was a dog stuck in a cat body. It would follow my little cousin e everywhere in the house and go find my uncle if my cousin was ABOUT to have a seizure. I’m not object to any cute furry I’m our house but never ever reptiles or spiders or anything. I think it be awesome to have a Bengal or savannah cat (I think that is what they are called?) The giant cats who are crossed between some wild cats and house cats and it made them oddly friendly and will snuggle and fetch and swim and generally act like a dog you have litter train and cleans itself.
