I use Too Faced BB cream and its a very lightweight all in one kind of thing, but I wish it had a little more coverage!  I feel like it’s still a little too see through.  I’m hesitant to try the others,  did you get good coverage with Laura Mercier?

When I’m getting all dressed up I’ll do a little more: I usually put the BB cream on and then put on some powder to decrease the shiny-ness.  It gives it  a nice look.  Then I put blush and bronzer on top of that… fix up my eyebrows… that kind of stuff.

It doesn’t make my skin breakout… I think.  My skin appears to be extremely sensitive.

I had a question- and I don’t know if you could answer it, but if you had to use concealer to cover up a nasty pimple would you put it over the BB cream? or under?

I have tons of foundation-esque products, and my two favorite BBs are from Etude and Missha (in my experience, the American companies just don’t hold a candle yet to the ones from the Asian market). I still have my oil free Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer and full strength foundations (my favorite right now are Dior Forever, Make Up For Ever High Def, and Hourglass). However, once I started using my BBs, I don’t think I used any of my other foundations more than 10 times last summer! Even without a separate primer, they last so well and look so incredibly natural. I will say that the two I use don’t have enough sunscreen for me if I’m planning to be outside, so I still add my Clarins UV Plus underneath. And yes, I typically wear other makeup over it but that’s more b/c I’m a makeup hound! I have done jst BB and run out the door though. I find that a little dusting of powder keeps shine at bay longer and if nothing else, I love mascara so much.

@redpinkorange:  it depends on how much coverage I need! I feel like the Etude gives a little bit more coverage than Missha, and so many of the other ones I’ve tried gave slightly more coverage than my Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. If I just need a teeny bit more coverage, I find that I can layer my BBs a little. Sometimes I’ll use a teeny dab of actual foundation, and other times I use actual concealer. If I want to add foundation or concealer for more coverage, I apply it on TOP of the BB cream.

Interesting, Ive never heard about BB cream until last week after I got Smashbox Halo Powder – which I love. Smashbox ALSO has a BB cream – since you guys are BB gurus, have you tried it yet? (I think its new).  I so need to get into a better makeup routine!

@purple_sofia:  I really want to hear about the Smashbox BB cream too, I love everything I’ve ever bought from Smashbox .  I wear a moinsturizer + sunscreen daily, often a primer, concealer and a light dust of powder.  If I could combine just a bit I would be happy.

I had a similar thread going a few weeks ago!  I love my BB cream, but I would recommend purchasing the Korean brands (BB cream is from Korea).  They’ve been in Korea forever but are just recently making headlines in the U.S.  I am currently using the Missha brand and love it (link below).  To find out other Korean brands, just google “Korean BB cream” or something like that and a bunch of other one will pop up.

Just read this whole thread and I agree with ItsHollyAgain – the Korean brands are so much better, and also cheaper too!

@sailor:  I love it so much!  I am a beauty freak and spent hours (no exaggeration) researching online before I decided which BB cream to buy.  I liked what everyone had to say about Missha.  For full disclosure, I haven’t tried any other creams aside from Missha, and I’m sure I will at some point, but right now I am 100% satisfied with Missha.

To apply, I actually dab on a bit of moisturizer on my face first, and then put the BB cream on.  I set with some loose powder and my face looks great all day.  Not kidding, I haven’t had to touch up even once since using the BB cream!
