@HonoraryNerd:  I only get it straightened for special occasions. I’m too lazy to blow it out myself. I’m also adamant on washing it every day and as soon as water hits it, it goes curly again so it’s kind of a waste. I have corkscrew curls.

Mine is straight, but my sister has curly hair. She usually straightens it because one side of her hair is curlier than the other so it looks like different lengths when she leaves it down and curly!

I have very wavy/weird curly hair. I never do the product in wet hair and then go–my texture looks terrible like that. I typically blow dry it and curl with a curling iron, which is also what I have my stylist do.

I have naturally curly hair and I love it! I just put mouse in it when it’s wet and that’s all the styling do.

@HonoraryNerd:  My hair is gross/wavy/frizzy.  It is straightened all the time.  People have no idea what my natural hair looks like, and I like it that way (although most people assume that my hair straightened is natural).

I’ve had a long time to fight with my curls, and I’ve long since learned it’s better to treat them nicely and leave them in their natural state. I’ve straightened my hair maybe 2 times in the last 10 years. Why mess with what I’ve got?

I hate going to get my hair cut so much, as I always get a stylist who either doesn’t know what to do with curly hair, or automatically reaches for the straightener. My hair styling is the same as yours – leave-in, a product, air dry.

50/50 depends on my mood.  It seems like easier to take care of when straighten just brush and go.  While keep it curly have to mess with more.

I usually leave it curly, but straighten it for most special events. It’s less predictable when I leave it curly.

When I go to the salon I usually get a blow out. I love how it looks and feels but takes way to much time to do on my own regularly.

I straighten mine during the Winter and when it’s generally cool. I keep it curly in the Summer as I can’t be doing with fighting it and using hair dryer and straighteners when it’s hot otherwise I’d have to get back into the shower.

My hair is a mutant curly. It’s like, straight at the top, then gets wavy/curly partway down. So basically it looks stupid naturally. Like permanent hat hair! So I almost always straighten it, and I have for years. Sometimes I will pin it half up or in a ponytail, and on those days I can get away with no straightening.

And every once in a while the mutant hair decides to have some extra curl, so if I get out of the shower, comb it, scrunch it with my hands, and leave it to air dry, only then can I wear it curly! It happens much more in England with the humidity there. I do like it when it decides to curl nicely!

ETA: Oh, and at the salon my lady blow dries it, which straightens it significantly, and then she will touch it up with a flat iron.

@HonoraryNerd:  Eevryone loves my hair curly but me. If I didn’t have enough hair for 10 people on my head, I would straighten it everyday. But ti’s SO much work, that I probably only do it 2-3 times a month.
