Go to planned parenthood, I believe that you can get BC through their docs. And it is cheaper I think.

Try Planned Parenthood.  When my friend temporarily lost her insurance, she went there to get birth control pills.  Give them a call and they should be able to get you in.  They won’t just “give” you pills though…you’ll probably have to have an exam.

Planned parenthood! (if there is one near you)

I grew up in a pretty rural area with no planned parenthood within 50 miles.  The health department there offered affordable pap smears and birth control to everybody.

I was going to suggest the Health Dept. too. That’s where I went for mine before I had insurance! But I know they were booked pretty far out too – hopefully yours won’t be!

I don’t think the appointment will cost very much because it is meant for people who can’t afford to go to a regular doctor.  Just let them know you are uninsured and they will work with you I’m sure!

Planned parenthood does prescribe bc without an exam. Did you tell them about your situation? Its always possible they could squeeze you in just for the bc…
