Neither. I second the Android suggestion. I’d personally suggest Nexus S if you like Sprint.

I would definitely vote iphone over blackberry… I would vote anything over blackberry though lol. I hated all the blackberrys I had.  I love love love my Driod X though… I would recommend it for sure… I think its the Driod X2 now but its basically the exact same

I used to love my Blackberry…until I got an iPhone. The iPhone is 1000 times better!

I am addicted to my blackberry and refuse to change to an IPHONE or Android. Like you, I love the keyboard and hate the touch screens and could never give up BBM (blackberry messenger). I would stick with your blackberry! 🙂

i have an iphone and keep a separate ipod for my music.  i hate the touch screen ipod (itouch or iphone) because i listen to music while tanning and i skip songs with my eyes closed.  it’s hard to skip songs with your eyes closed on a touch screen.

    Android all the way.

    I’m a phone geek.

    Blackberries
are great but not always personal use friendly. Meaning the are a business / corporate center, thats who they cater to. Only phone that if its lost, stolen etc, with one call toyour carrier that phone can be turned into an instant brick to whom ever took it. Ruined for good. Great, secure phones.

    Iphone
, very cool, consumer and business friendly. My prob with them is how easily they can be broken into. not very secure if lost ot stolen  and like any phone has a few bugs. Over all my second choice in phone.

    Android
my personal choice is phone. grat layout and easy to use, many personalized choices. Secure in info and in my comparison the browser (stock google or using Opera Mini) works way faster than on the iphone.

didnt mean to geek out on you.

Phone and Photography are my thing 😉

I was a BB LOVER and said the same things you did before I switched “but i NEED buttons and i NEED bbm!!” – I honestly regret not switching to iphone sooner!!! you get used to it after a week and the APPS are amazing , the camera and video capabilities are awesome – I NEVER bring my camera or my ipod around anymore because it is all there on my phone. You can always download WhatsApp to replace BBM that is what I did and it has worked out great..it is essentially the same thing

I am an apple lover/pusher in general now

I love my blackberry, too. but it has soo many issues, it freezes, its slow, etc. I know a lot of blackberry users have this problem, and with the iphone you get soo many applications etc. But I guess if you have a blackberry, texting will be significantly harder on an iphone

I have an iPhone and it is way better / faster / has better battery life than my husband’s droid. we bought our phones about the same time.  the battery drains on his so fast, he won’t use it as an MP3 player. I use my MP3 player for hours each day and my battery is good.

oh also, the camera on it is better than the droid camera, IMO.

(PS: I am on verizon. that might make a difference too!)

my manager has a blackberry and she says the web browsing on it is so bad, she doesn’t even use it. what’s the point of having a smartphone if you can’t browse the web?

@profiterole: that’s so funny. in the beginning, I kept a separate ipod nano because I was terrified I’d drop my new iPhone. I got over it eventually though.

those ipods are so tiny, it doesn’t really add bulk/weight if you choose to carry both!
