I hate complaining about things when it’s not these people’s fault but…
I get my threading and bikini waxes done at a pretty upscale spa in Manhattan. My specialist was recommended to me by my co-worker. She is FANTASTIC. In fact, she’s their most-booked specialist. This is fabulous because I do not want to trust my face or nether regions to just anyone.
Here’s the problem. I’ve been going there for about a year, and they’ve just cancelled on me for the fourth time. They always cite some sort of family emergency, etc. and do I want another specialist. Not really. I book my appointments 4-5 weeks in advance so that I get this particular specialist. I make sure and make the appointment on days I don’t have class.
My question — should I complain? I feel like I deserve a gift card or free service or something for being inconvenienced so many times.
