My Fiance says NOT to buy it. He used to work at a dealership and they had so many problems with them. If you have any other questions let me know!

I have a brand new honda civic. But all of my friends have had honda’s for years and they love them. My friends fourteen year old honda civic is still running great!

Yeah, they are really cute!  The new passat looks cute and the price was pretty good.

But, yeah, I heard about the car issues too.  I know of someone who bought a brand new convertible one. I can’t remember what it was called. But her check engine light came on after a year.  That’s nuts. Now I don’t think it was her fault.

My really close friend has an 2001 Jetta, she doesn’t hate it because it is a car but I don’t think she would get another one.  I think there’s a lot of issues with it. I have another close friend and she couldn’t wait to get rid of it.  I think it was a 2001 or 2002 Jetta.

DH’s college roommate had an older Jetta 1999 or 1998 (?) or maybe older. He drove it everywhere.  It was paid off.  He took it on some trips that he shouldn’t have taken it on.  It was falling apart and rolled it over (200,000 miles or so). I think he would still have it if it weren’t for the fact he moved to the UK and had to sell it.

Yeah, I have a used Honda. I would recommend the same thing.  It’s reliable, resale value is pretty high.  Good on gas.

Oh, if you are scared of larger cars.  I would go with a civic or maybe a honda fit.  They are pretty small.

@Corykru: A civic is a car for anyone. Fiance has the Civic SI, it’s sportier and it’s a manual so stay away from that. But a regular civic is amazing I get 30 MPG and it drives really smoothe.

I’m positive you’ll enjoy it and have no problem whatsoever with it.
