So this is happening in Texas. Basically, at some kind of party where most of the family and adults were outside for sometime and the 5 year old was inside, the father comes back inside to see this man molesting his daughter and beats him, calls 911 and the guy dies. Pretty much the public opinion is the guy had it coming and it was defense of a 3rd person. Which I agree with, you touch little kids you pretty much deserve whatever you get. And it isn’t like this guy just thought his daughter MIGHT be getting abused but actually saw the act, the daughter was examined at a hospital and there apparently are other people who have added their witness to this story.
So what do you think? Should this guy be charged with the killing of the child molestor? According to the article he has stated his intent was NOT to kill the man, and he did call 911. It is going before a grand jury and I can’t see a jury convicting him. Or if he gets some kind of convicting it will be a very light charge with minimal sentence.
