    @Batsygirl:  I do the same thing with my drinks! Fiance always drinks a couple glasses of water when we’re at restaurants and he’ll have to wait for the waiter to come around, so I make sure to save him some of mine.

    we always give each other better things equally, depends on who is “in charge” of the situation 🙂

    for example, if he cooks dinner when i come home tired (i have late night shifts sometimes) he brings me the “throne” (a super-comfy computer chair) to sit on and wait until it’s done. and vice versa.

    Depends on if it’s something I think is important to him vs. something that I’d enjoy more. For example, he has a huge sweet tooth, so he gets the best part of chocolate cake (cause I don’t really care for it and he does). But I take the best pieces of burnt cheese on top of my chicken divan, cause he knows I love those and he doesn’t care 🙂 It evens out to where we are both taking care of each other rather than it being a one-sided sacrifice.
