I have a black lab… i love her she’s the best. However … my house is on the market and trying to clean up the CLUMPS of hair every other hour is driving me nuts. She stays outside but can’t be out without suprvision for long.
Other then a DYSON and sweeping … what do YOU do to clean up all the hair???Thankssssss

We had a Sheltie growing up and when he started shedding each year, we washed him in WARM water, then towel dried, and finally used a shedding brush to get the majority off at one time. This saved us from finding long clumps of salt and pepper hair on the rugs.

Ugh. Virgil’s starting his summer shed, too. I wash him every 3 days or so and brush him well afterward.
He’s a short coat dog, but the mostly white thing doesn’t go well with black scrubs!
ETA: I seriously strip off and get in the shower with him. It’s lots easier this way and I don’t get water all over the bathroom.

Try the Furminator! I haven’t personally used it but a number of coworkers have and they all swear by it! Now would be a great time to try it too, with the warm weather all the dogs are shedding their winter coats. 🙂
