What is your favorite fall activity and why? Anything outside. I love the crisp air. Going on walks, going to pumpkin farms, etc.

What are you most looking forward to this fall? The above, and wearing sweatshirts and leggings again. I’m kind of over summer apparel. LOL.

When do you start decorating? Honestly we don’t really seasonally decorate our home. We both work full time and have a 4 year old, and are getting married next month. So, we will probably only decorate for Christmas this year.

What is your favorite fall scented candle? Anything pumpkin. I love candles.

Will you be dressing up for Halloween? Actually, I might! I typically don’t but we bought our house in March and this will be the first year we own a stand alone home and I think we might get trick or treaters this year.

What is your favorite fall scented candle? Oh gosh, anything vanilla- cinnamon – apple pie—woodsy scented anything will do

Will you be dressing up for Halloween? Since I’ll be heavily pregnant I am not sure, still looking for ideas!

ETA:  My given name is Autumn, so I am about fall.

What is your favorite fall activity and why? Bonfires. I love staring into the flames with a spiked cocoa or cider. There’s something primarlly satisfying about flames. Also, my daughter and I do this thing called the “Haunted Fantasy Trail” It’s aimed at kids who are roughly 5-10 but we always go every year anyway. It’s a super fun tradition and we always have a great time. There’s a LABYRINTH ON A PIRATE SHIP OKAY?!??

What are you most looking forward to this fall? Being able to wear the best parts of my wardrobe i.e. Sweaters and Boots Also, the fantasy trail.

When do you start decorating? The beginning of October, usually. I don’t really decorate apart from Halloween stuff, and as much as I love it, I don’t want it to start in August.

What is your favorite fall scented candle? Nope. I do like the smell of mulled wine though!

Will you be dressing up for Halloween? A forty-One year old! Like eurasianbee : it’s my birthday. It is objectively the best one. So… 😉 I bought myself a dope ass witch hat last year and I have a cool green velvet cloak, so I’ll probably bust that out. Last year, our subdivision wasn’t totally done being built so we didn’t get trick or treaters, but we have a ton of kids now so I am hopeful we’re in for a herd of cuties.

Are you getting ready/excited for fall? F YEAH

For fun:

What is your favorite fall activity and why? Like others, I love the crisp air, so going on walks/hikes. It rains a lot where I am in the fall, so we enjoy a cozy bar and watching the rain fall.

What are you most looking forward to this fall? Wearing sweaters and boots!

When do you start decorating? I’m not much for decorating based on seasons or for the holidays. Maybe some fall colored flowers every once and a while and some candles.

What is your favorite fall scented candle? Vanilla (not very fall-esque)

Will you be dressing up for Halloween? Probably not.

When do you start decorating? Beginning of October, but I bring out my pumpkin/apple/fall scented candles September 1st 🙂

What is your favorite fall scented candle? LOL! I love Farmer’s Market from Yankee Candle

Will you be dressing up for Halloween? Yes! It’s our first Halloween as a married couple, we will be dressing up as Woody and Bo Peep from Toy Story 🙂

avprobeauty :  YES!!! This is the time of year home and craft stores bring in their fall items, and I am about it! Walked into HomeGoods and Joann’s earlier this week and got all the autumn tummy tingles. The scent of cinnamon candles, the sight of glittered guords and sunset-colored leaves, the feel of cozy blankets just screaming to swaddle you in front of a crackling fire. I love it all and can’t wait for autumn to actually BE HERE. Hoping for an October 2019 wedding as well, so getting all sorts of excited to scour the fall decor to get ideas.

As for your questions…

What is your favorite fall activity and why? I love making my way through a corn maze and picking out pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. We have a few farm areas nearby and there are some really fun mini-festivals at pumpkin patches. I also associate fall with when we go to the Renaissance Faire (comes in September and October), which is one of my favorite events of the year.

What are you most looking forward to this fall? Cooking stew and sipping a hot toddy while finally buckling down to finish writing my book.

When do you start decorating? More like, when do I stop? Our apartment is kind of fall-themed. I don’t change the decor for the season, I just keep the colors and aesthetic fall-centric year-round. I do winter-ize it for the holidays though =)

What is your favorite fall scented candle? I have two. The first is Cozy Cashmere Blanket (clean and subtle and so relaxing to have as a background scent) and the second is Cinnamon Spice (amazing blend of cinnamon with cloves and a pinch of orange).

Will you be dressing up for Halloween? Heck yes! We haven’t had consistent plans in the past few years but usually figure something out, low-key or more going out. Thinking of dressing up as Korra or Asami from Legend of Korra. Strong female characters, ftw!

avprobeauty :  Autumn is my favorite season!

Fall Activity: ALL the fall activities! pumpkin patch, hay rides, spiced apple cider, hot cocoa, hikes in the woods, falling leaves, crisp evenings, bonfires, apple pie, poached pears, flannel shirts, sweaters with leggings, leg warmers, boots with skinny jeans, cozy scarves, snuggling with my hubby and pups, pumpkin spice EVERYTHING.

Fall Decor: I have a very strict timeline for my porch decorations. The day after Labor Day (September 4th this year) I take down the summer/patriotic stuff and put up my fall decor. Pumpkins, leaves, hay bale, etc.

Fall Candle: Spiced pear or mulled wine or black currant.

Halloween: YES! Just need to figure out a good couples costume for hubby and me, and a fun/creative group costume for my work party.

Oh what fun! I’ve been counting down the days until September so it’s socially acceptable for me to pretend it’s fall.

What is your favorite fall activity and why? Watching all of the horror movies on Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon. I hate that they take the good ones off for most of the year so as soon as they start adding them, I hunker down with kettle corn and hot chocolate and binge.

What are you most looking forward to this fall? The cool weather and the fashionably undead prom my favorite museum hosts every year. Last year I didn’t wear a costume and I definitely plan to this year!

When do you start decorating? Since we live in an apartment, we don’t do much decorating. We just don’t have the space inside to store decorations. We might put out some pumpkins, but I’d wait till October for that. I do, however, constantly pin decorating ideas for when we move into a bigger place!

What is your favorite fall scented candle? Cinnamon spiced vanilla from BaBW. Or any of their scents. I just went on their website and need to hardcore resist the urge to buy everything.

Will you be dressing up for Halloween? YES! I don’t know as what this year. It will depend on my job situation. Unfortunately, if I’m still in my current job, my work’s gala is Halloween weekend, but I’ll still dress up for the undead prom and at my office.

avprobeauty :

Looking forward to fall? YES!! It’s been hot as hell (literally) here I’m looking forward to cooler weather. But it won’t be soon. SoCal.

Favorite fall activity? Getting ready for Thanksgiving.  Walking in the crisp air. Having coffee inside. Hot apple cider. Wearing scarves!!! They have to be pretty gauzy here anyway but it’s my favorite way to punch up an outfit.

When do you start decorating? I either don’t decorate at all or combine fall/Christmas decor. Our place was super small and maybe this year I can do more. I do like warm Christmas decor. Like a little house with lights in it. Feels  cozy.

Favorite fall candle? I’m actually horribly allergic to candles. I have asthma and a fragrance allergy. So INSTEAD we have boiled water on low with some cloves and citrus (I think this is a Martha Stewart suggestion) or I make coffee with the spices in pumpkin pie. It smells sooo goood and lasts a bit in the house.

Are you dressing up? Not sure depends on if there’s a party or not.
