I didn’t vote. My type seems to be tall, lanky (not too skinny, usually with a 6 pack but not too much muscle haha) “cool” nerds. If they have longer hair, even better.

I just gave Darling Husband Brad Pitt’s haircut from World War Z:

@Lindarella:  Sam is like the stereotypical Aussie guy…a bit grizzly, and definitely down to earth!

As much as I’d like to think I have a type, I think I’ve dated all over the spectrum. Artsy-anguished writer, clean-cut phD student/engineer, just-your-average-IT guy, artsy/eccentric photojournalist, stockbroker, advertising creative hipster. My Fiance is European, which somehow seems to be a category of its own. He’s kind of part ladies’ man, part class clown, part nerd and pretty down to earth!

I think at the end of the day, my ‘type’ is smart guys…which is why out of all the above, Joseph Gordon Levitt pretty much floats my boat! I’m not much for beefcakes like Channing. πŸ˜‰

I love the rocker/musician types, combined with the grizzly manly men. I like chubby guys with lots of tattos and piercings. Preferably bald or short hair, facial hair and someone average height or tall. I love M Shadows from Avenged Sevenfold. His looks are what I love most, except I prefer more meat on the bones and some facial hair πŸ™‚ But I will take him the way he is any day!

I almost voted for “The unexpectedly sexy-yet-seemingly-down-to-earth-guy” as that’s what my FI-to-be is, but then I saw you had Channing Tatum as “The Stereotypical- Ladies -Man” so I had to vote for him…drool.

Ahhh this one’s a toughie. My husband is totally clean-cut, all American, blonde crew cut, blue eyes. And I think he’s the hottest man I’ve ever seen in real life, but he was definitely not my type when I first saw him. My type was more artsy, guitar-playing, poetry writing, dark hair, dark eyes, mysterious dude. I think my husband has more sustainable hotness than that old type is, though.

I have a few, but the type I was most drawn to and known for loving was the older Wall Street, ceo, attorney type. Always in a suit, moderate to high level of arrogance, and damn right sexy… Very jack donaughy!

but in the end… I chose the other type I really like! Lovable, sweet, funny, nerd, who looks more athlete than nerd πŸ™‚
