@tksjewelry:  I looked at the grocery store tonight for similar cookies to no avail! Do you know what they’re called?

I did find Samoa ice cream, however. Delicious.

@Aure:  Sorry, they are Keeblers, I had the wrong brand 🙁

      These are thin mints

The Samoas are the Keebler Coconut Dreams

this is a picture of the two side by side from a news article, the article said they tasted almost exact, the keebler was slightly better with a touch more chocolate

@tksjewelry:  Ooh, I looked at the Keeblers too, I saw a mint one but not the Grasshoppers or Coconut Dreams. I’ll have to keep an eye out next time I go. Thanks!

As a former G.S. and G.S. Leader, I will always purchase cookies, regardless of the cost and taste.  (My fav’s are Trefoils and Tagalongs).  It is a great way to support all of the wonderful programs that are offered for girls!  Who doesn’t enjoy going to camp, going on field trips, attending sports clinics, exhanges, earning badges, etc….while also building character, cooperation, respect, and problem solving abilities?!

@tksjewelry:  Do you mind inboxing me the program you are referring to?  I’m curious as to whether or not this is a program I’ve read about, but very unfamiliar with.  Thx!

TREFOILSSSS! These are actually the only ones I like but I’ve liked them since I was in GS’s. I was a GS for 6 years and my mom was my troop leader for 2 of those years… I hope someday I have a daughter so she can be a GS too, I’d love to be a troop leader!

@melisslp:  I looked it up to see what she was talking about since I hadn’t heard about anything like that and found an article if you want me to send it to you. Though I don’t agree with it being bad or wrong I do think it’s interesting to see other peoples view points.

@Mrs Sarah McK:  “puffy heart” hahahahahaha. I adore the peanut butter patties, but a friend of mine swears that there is crack in the thin mints.
