Darling Husband and I would like to get to know our neighbors. We’ve been in our small community for a several months and while we wave hi and by, it seems the only time we all get out to talk to each other is if there’s a power outage or earthquake.
We want to do something REALLY low key – like outside in the front of our house … or, if I can convince Darling Husband, in our tiny back yard. We both do not want to do an open house format where people are in and out of the house.
I’m trying to brainstorm ideas for how to make it both cute and inviting, and realized the time of day is key in figuring this out. Once I have that, then I could devise a theme
So – I ask you, when would you most likely attend a neighborhood meet and greet.
At first I thought an evening thing might work (with wine/sangria and appetizers), but the more I think of it, a Saturday coffee/donuts type thing might be ideal.
