So I was shaving & my electric shaver’s battery died & needed to be recharged. I used the mini shaver (about the size of a pencil) cause I just had my knee area left. My hair got in my eyes, so I pulled it back behind my ear. While doing that I accidentally shaved off a part of the middle of my eyebrow :(. I think its funny, but it looks funny too. My question is how long will it take to grow back?
I used my brown eye liner so it won’t look as bad. When I wear sunglasses, it hides that area, so I’ll be wearing my sunglasses a lot more. Darling Husband hasn’t noticed yet (or at least hasn’t said anything).

ok I’m sorry but this totally made me laugh because it sounds like something I’d do. I’m sure it’ll be whole again in a couple weeks. and over those two weeks I’m sure it will get less and less noticeable.

I feel terrible but I’m laughing so hard at your post!! Poor you! Its like that scene in “My Best Friend’s Girl” – a hairstylist accidently shaved off a guy’s eyebrow!
I’m not sure how long it would take… maybe a month?

AWWW!!! I can’t help but laugh and feel bad for you at the same time, I’m assuming it will take like a month to grow back

Oh, I did the same thing when I was like 15. It’s about the funniest thing ever now.
I used an eyebrow pencil for a little over a month I think.

My first response “the same amount of time as to grow the whole eyebrow” ๐ I am glad you are good humored about this because I am sure not everyone would be and who needs the added stress?
I was going to guess about a month because its not very long hair and doesnt hair grow abotu 14/-12 inch a month.
Prenatal vitamins make your hair grow, I wonder if taking them would speed the process up?

Glad to see you’ve seen some humor in it. I’d say about a month, probably less, based upon my waxing experiences (in the beginning with waxing, the hairs would be back within a month. I think it’ll be shorter for you b/c you didn’t pull it out, you just shaved it). I’ve also heard that brown eyeshadow works well with the eyeliner to soften it.

Haha you made me LOL! ๐ I suggest putting on that L’Oreal Lash Boosting Serum. I use it on my eyelashes and it makes them grow nice and long, so I started using it on my sparse eyebrows too and am already noticing a difference (after a week).

Oh darn!! I did this too about a year ago! ooops….LOL. It took about a month to grow back to where it wasn’t noticible, and like another two weeks to be back completely. Funny, funny….

Dissolve some unflavored Knox gelatine in your hot drink. It will help make your hair grow faster and you wont have to explain prenatals. They even make a Knox hair and nail formula (although you can’t find it everywhere) which you could always pull off by saying “I’m just trying to strengthen my nails”.

Lol. I only laugh b/c I’ve nearly done this in the shower with a disposable. :/
Try prenatals is my advice.

You can get an eyebrow enahncing serum to speed up the process. It’s like the eyelash serums you see on commercials… the kind I’d reccomend is by Anastasia and I believe you can get it at Sephora for only $36!
