Love is a strong word. I really like it. But it’s also day 5.

Its a good title, I like the atmosphere, I like that this smaller company has vision and willingness to experiment. I used to hate my job doing something similar, but realized it was the company, not the job role.

I love my job πŸ™‚ I’m a professional violinist. I play with 8-9 professional orchestras. During the day I work in customer service for a music company helping people with their music related needs (buying instruments for their kids, strings, etc.). I love getting paid to do what I love and what I went to school for (I have a master’s degree in violin). I’m overqualified for my day job but its very laid back and low pressure and I LOVE my coworkers. I really just wanted a low pressure, low key job that was flexible and wouldn’t conflict with rehearsals and performances. And the pay is decent. Anyways, even when I’m dead tired, I love going to work. I feel lucky for this πŸ™‚

I like my job. Some days I love it, some days its just eh…but I am a nanny so everything is so unpredictable. I like my bosses, the kids are pretty well behaved, we get to play the Wii, go to the library, I can run an errand for myself if need be, play, dance, watch movies eat snacks….its rough πŸ˜‰ so yes I like(sometimes love) my job.

I LOVE my job!  I am geology professor – and I absolutely love teaching!  I love it when my students actually “get it” and I love it when I get converts to the geology major each semester!  I love my field and it really makes me happy when I can pass that on to others!

(Oh, and i like talking, so I really like having a “captive” audience listening to me wax poetically about rocks!  I am kidding with this one…kinda)

I love my job as a 2nd grade teacher!  I changed careers 6 years ago and could not be happier. I have found my calling!  The intrinsic reward of teaching is more valuable than any amount of money.  (But I would like a raise, thank you very much!)

I love what I do! While I’m currently kind of unemployed (by choice), I do plenty of freelance to keep me busy. I’m eager to get back into an agency but I have little to complain about right now.

I absolutely love my job.  I teach 2nd – 4th graders, so some kids I’ve had for 2 years in a row now.  I cannot wait to get to work in the morning and see my students.  They make my day better, and while they have their moments, they are some of my favorite people in the world.

I won’t be coming back next year because DH and I are moving and I cried today thinking about how my kids will have a new teacher next year.  I really wish I could see some of my kids that I got as 2nd graders move through 4th grade and on to middle school… πŸ™

@kmsw: wow thats so crazy! where did you go for undergrad and what field did you end up switching in to? Yea, I feel lucky that I can do something I love. My fiance also has a bachelors degree in performance but decided to go to law school (not sure how that happened, but I’m not complaining :P).
