I’m an IT Manager and I like what I do, I definitely don’t love it. Not too thrilled with the company, though.

In my day job I work in corporate America and sadly I DO NOT love my job. It’s hectic, stressful, demanding client…yeah. I telecommute and I earn a (somewhat) fair salary but I earn every penny of it. MY SECOND job on the other hand, promoting a health challenge, I have been doing it for 7 months, I have earned a free BMW and I have made a REALLY good amount of cash given what little time I have to devote to it outside work. Plan B, becoming Plan A, is what I am looking forward to!

I’m a paralegal and I really like my job. I’m at the bottom rung now though, so I bet with a few years of experience under my belt I can find a job I love!

I work in neuroscience research (currently with anxiety patients but branching into chronic pain in graduate school) and I LOVE it. I can’t imagine doing anything else, even on the tough days (and my husband can’t imagine me doing anything either on the days I threaten to quit.. As long as he’s known me science has been my thing lol).

Woohoo!  I LOVE my job!  I get to perform 5 times a week, every week and make people forget their troubles and have a good time.  I don’t make much money and have to sacrifice all of my weekends, but knowing that I’ve made other people happy is priceless.

I wait tables at a sushi bar and it’s a love/hate thing. Good customers, flexible hours, nonpredictability, mobility…it’s fun sometimes. And I like serving sushi. It’s a refreshing change from all the steakhouses around here – in both food and culture. And I work with some great people.

But, my boss is something else. He’s really out of touch and way too critical. He expects us to be perfect but he never praises us.

We’re going to move soon and I want to stick with my sushi bar gig for the weekends but I want to try temping for a while in different offices to get a feel for those kinds of jobs but still have the flexibility and the change and hey, maybe even an insurance plan or two if I’m lucky.

I have a degree in professional writing and editing but idk…I’m just happy where I am, even though it’s not the biggest pay in the world.

I love my job! I’m in my second yr teaching high school and I love it! Everyone told me it’d be so hard, and some days are… But the rewards are so awesome. I love working with kids! And sure they try my patience but I love seeing them “get” it. It’s like, “Wow, I taught them that!”

I LOVE my job.  I’m an emergency medicine doctor and I can honestly say that this is what I was meant to do.  I get to meet all types of people, I get to help people at a time when they need it most, and I get to do some really cool things.  Don’t get me wrong, there are days when drug seeking patients scream at me because I won’t give them narcotic pain medications, or a patient dies unexpectedly, or its just a zoo and all hell is breaking loose that I wonder if it’s worth the stress.  But that usually only lasts for a day.  The people I help far outnumber the ones who make my job difficult.  So yes, I love my job and I’m so lucky that I have the opportunity to do what I love.
