I’m the market for a leather jacket, although I’m aware it’s not exactly leather jacket season! I also don’t want to spend a ton of money although I still want a quality jacket. I’ve been looking everywhere and finally found a nice one on sale, but it’s camel-colored and all the black ones are sold out in any sizes that I could possibly consider.
Should I just suck it up and buy a camel one for now and wait for a nice black one to come along?
Should I wait it out and get a black one? This may mean waiting a number of months until it’s Fall.
Is wearing a camel-colored jacket with black boots (Frye-type black leather not super shiny black-black leather) a fashion faux pas?

I am not personally a fan of camel colored leather jackets, but that’s because I’m pale and I have blonde hair. It all kind of blends on me, but do you like the way the color looks on you? WIll you actually wear it? I know you want a leather jacket but it might be better to wait until you find a nice black jacket if you’re unsure about the camel one. You can’t go wrong with black.

@FutureMrsJohnson_: That’s a good point. I have dark brown hair and lighter golden/olive skin so the camel complements my coloring/tone. It didn’t blend in.
I think I would wear the camel one, but I guess the practical person in me is trying to figure if two is just extravagant and I can make do with one basic one.

I’d still get the camel one. Plus, it’s on sale!
