Do you have a theme and/or genre in mind?

What kind of song did you want to sing?

A whole new world, or “written in the stars” from Aida come to mind, but if you don’t want Broadway-esque I’m more stumped.

Hmm… I did a fair bit of musical theatre as an alto/mezzo, so I’m a little familiar with what songs/roles fit an alto voice, but not so much on the barritone, so if I’m way off base for parts for him, my apologies!  Kinda rough since often altos are the “villian”, so they don’t get to duet with the male lead too much… or if they do, they’re not good stand alone songs…

High flying adored?

Make someone happy?

Puttin’ on the Ritz?

Without love – hairspray?

I did a quick Google search and found this Yahoo Answer. There’s some really angry language from one of the answers, but just ignore that because the list is HUGE:

For the Christian song, would The Lord’s Prayer be too heavy? I don’t know if you’re looking for something more contemporary in style or lighter anyway.
