I haven’t posted on the Bee in forever, but you ladies always have good advice, so here goes! I’m looking to buy a bedding set that feels super luxurious and will hold up to frequent washing, since I wash my sheets probably more frequently than I need to and they get worn out quickly as a result. I’m looking to purchase a duvet cover, matching shams (standard and euro), and two coordinating sheet sets. Anyone have any recommendations? I’ve looked at Frette, Sferra, Matouk, Ann Gish, and Peacock Alley, but am basically open to anything as long as it is pretty, high quality, feels nice, and wears well. Also, if anyone has any reviews of bedding they have bought from any of these brands, I’d appreciate hearing them. For some reason, I can’t seem to find a lot of reviews out there for the items I have looked at. Thanks in advance! 🙂

I’m not sure of the style you want but I’ve heard good things about ll bean bedding.

I have a Matteo linen duvet that I like a lot. Quality linen is great with frequent washing since it gets softer and softer over time and Matteo is definetly a high end luxury brand. I got mind from One Kings Lane, not sure where else to find it.
Of course, linen is only for people into a certain type of look (works well for modern, bohemian, scandi, etc). If you’re into a more classic, formal, or traditional look like Matouk it might not give you the esthetic you’re looking for.

I would look into what bedding is used a high end hotels like Hilton and Sheraton. You know it has to be quality to stand up to that wear and tear and still look so good!

I bought a set from Brooklinen before the wedding and was going to register for a set from Parachute (which is an extra $70 I think) but we loved our Brooklinen so much we just registered for a second set, so that it’s easier to put clean sheets on even if we’re in a rush and can’t wash our dirty sheets. We got the Brooklinen luxe, which is percale.
Like most percale, they’re super soft and get softer with each wash. I’m pretty sure Brooklinen has at least a 30 day return period so you can try it out risk-free. I think Parachute is the same story.

Skye is fabulous. Bit by bit, we’ve replaced all of our bedding with it!

We get bedding sets from Land’s End, they are good quality and hold up well over time. If you look into what hotels use, keep in mind they just replace their sheet sets constantly so, they don’t go through the use of a normal home.

I will happily second the Brooklinen recommendation. I’m currently snuggled in my Brooklinen Luxe set. We’ve had it about a year, and I can’t wait to get more.
