shampoo and other personal hygiene supplies (toothpaste etc).
Towel for showering
Assuming you have a place to sleep 🙂
Are you look for stuff just to hold you over for a day or too?
You will need to stock up everything from ketchup to a broom and dust pan to laundry detergent and bath rugs to hangers.

We have stuff like cups, plates, pans, utensils, bed, dining room table, but nothing like a vacuum, no towels, no cleaning supplies or the like.
Just suggest everything and anything you can think of 🙂 I am sure we need almost everything mentioned.

What does your place come with?
Do you need dish rack? dish towels? dish soap or dishwasher liquid?
Do you need lamps or are there enough overhead lamps?
The kitchen list is endless, but sharp knives are a must if cooking! A cookie sheet for use in the overn in addition to the already mentioned pots and pans. Can opener!
Dont forget your day to day living like qtips, toilet cleaner and brush,
extra light bulbs
a small tool kit to hang items, fix items etc.
Make sure everything is set up in your name as it applies- water, electricity, set up internet and cable, phone etc.

Most men, in my experience, don’t have multiple sheet sets. Or even sets, really.

When I moved into my first apartment, I went to target, grabbed a cart, and walked up and down every.single.aisle. It’s basically the only way to make sure you don’t forget anything!!!
Everyone knows about cleaning supplies, and dishes/pots/pans. But what about the smaller stuff, like a bathroom trashcan or rings to hang your shower curtain? What about paper towels? and handsoap?
it’s so easy to forget something. Just take yourself to target and have fun picking out stuff for your home. =)

-toothbrush and toothpaste
-TV, DVD player and DVDs
-some food and possibly kitchen items (glasses, plates, pots/pans) if you dont plan on going out to eat or getting take out
-trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper and sponges!

Ketchup, Mustard, Ranch Dressing, Mayo, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Salt, Pepper…etc
All of the things you’re used to have sitting there when you open the pantry won’t be there in your new house, and you don’t realize you don’t have them until you’re 1/2 way through making a sandwich!!

Its going to take a longggg time to feel like youre settled and have everything you need. But in the mean time, you need basics like:
- cleaning supplies, mob & bucket, broom, sponges, dish soap/dish rack,
- laundry soap, dryer sheets, hamper
- sheets, towels (hand towels and bath)
- Toiletries, bath mat, shower curtain, tooth brush holder
- trash bags/trash can, paper towels, utensils, plates, cubs, pots and pans
- lamps, extra lightbulbs and batteries
- Depending how much cooking you do, you’ll need basics like spices, condiments, oils & salad dressings
Good luck 🙂
