what a precious gift, my best to the fantastic medical team and for a healthy uncle

my thoughts are also with that amazing family that donated the liver – through their grief they are able to bring a new future to a stranger

@misskarianne: a few times per year i remind my husband that i want to be an organ donor if i should die – its really important to me that this happens when its my time.  a lady i work with, her brother had a heart lung transplant so ive seen the benefits that can come out of such a sad event.

Good thoughts for you and your family!

Remember, though not a liver or a kidney, but you can always donate blood! And help 3 people with each donation! I’ve saved 24 lives. Donated a gallon of blood!

That’s awesome! My Father-In-Law passed away a couple months ago while waiting for a liver transplant. I’m so glad your family doesn’t have to go through that.

WOW! I love organ transplant stories, and I am registered to be a donor myself. It’s so amazing that something from my body might save the life of someone else someday. They can take whatever they want from me – just let someone else use it! Best wishes to your uncle, this is awesome!
