ahartig: I have large breasts and my nipples pierced. The healing process was about 4-6 weeks. Just go easy on them, they will be very sore for a few days (it was terrible for about 3 days), after that, they are fine, but aren’t fully healed yet so just be careful playing with them in the mean time. Mine have been healed 4 years now and I can tug on them as much as I want and it doesn’t hurt.
Yes, the piercing itself is going to hurt. I have many things pierced and my nipples hurt the most. However, that isn’t a good enough reason to me not to get them done. It is like a very hard pinching feeling. You’ll forget about the pain in no time.
I have not had children yet, but you do have to take them out for breastfeeding (they may close up as well). The jewlery is a ball of bacteria that you do not want your child to ingest.

elizabeth1391: yikes! I deffinately think that I wouldn’t wait that long. I feel like I would give it a go and if it really is a hassle I would just take them out and be like well…. I tried. Lol

sparklesauce: thank you so much for responding! I feel like the only thing I’ve heard from the Internet are of just months and months of healing time. It’s good to know that larger breastfed women are still having success with them.
I’m also very glad that everyone loves them, it’s very hard to find pictures (not asking for them) of big breastfed women with their nipples pierced. Its good to know that people love the look of them, that’s another concern since they are a bit droopier, but good to know that they are stll loved! Lol

ahartig: Yeah I am a 36DDD, and I was nervous about the healing as well. Once they fully healed though, I have had no issues. I mean my nipples were personally more sore because I decided to go hiking the same day I got them done (I do not recommend that). I got them done on a whim. If you can go braless for a day, that might just help (so do it on days you don’t have to work). I mean you can still wear a bra no problem, but they will want some freedom and air for at least a few hours. The less friction the better. Good luck!!! I love mine! One suggestion though, only do barbells for large breasts. The hoops get caught on way too many things!

ahartig: it seems everyone’s stories are for the positive but I’ve had a not so perfect experience and I guess that’s info you need to make a decision. Tmi maybe but I’m just being real
I’ve had mine for 9 years. I probably got my piercings for a different reason,i kinda hated my breasts. They were not normal to me. At 19 I had low hanging, droopy grandma breasts.Full d cup,but my nipples were low and practically pointed down.Just not fresh 19 year old breasts.lol I got my piercings to make me feel better. And I did. For me,the piercing was practically painless. I felt secretly sexy and naughty and I loved it. However I was always having issues with irritation, and once,an infection.Years later I was still getting “crusties” even with multiple daily cleanings. They would leak and then you have sexy little dried goo fluid on your bra. There goes wearing that bra a second day.lol Sometimes they were okay, sometimes not. It wasn’t painful so I just dealt with it. But it was not sexy. I don’t think it helped with sensation. My nipples were very sensitive beforehand and if anything, piercings got in the way. Eventually I just got fed up bc one was doing well and the other not so much so I took the left one out 3 years ago. I still have the right and it’s doing well but it took a long time.
And now you know about my tits;)

ahartig: I used to have one nipple pierced. It took over a year to heal, and even then it still ended up being more painful than erotic when Fiance would touch it. And, kinda Too Much Information, but it would always have some crusty discharge so I never even wanted Fiance to look at it. Finally I had enough and took it out and I am much happier now, haha. But I have also heard some really good things about nipple piercings, so maybe I just had a bad experience.

elizabeth1391: I had the same experience with mine. Had them both done at the same time. One healed pretty quickly and the other never healed correctly so I took that one out after a few months. I left that one in for a couple years then became tired of messing with it.
OP if you do it loofas will be your worst enemy! Lol anything lacy can also be bad news. They did mine diagonally due to my nipples being a bit inverted. I’m a 34D

ahartig: I had mine pierced was fun, in my “fun” days. But let them grow shut thank goodness to. I tried to Boyfriend or Best Friend but just never worked out for me. Quite honestly I would not recommend getting them pierced.

ahartig: I had mine done when I was 18 or 19- the healing honestly was pretty bad. I could barely wear a shirt (and DEF NOT A BRA!!) or even stand underneath the shower head directly for a bout a week. IDK if its because I have very small boobs, maybe it made it worse but just be prepared to be housebound for a day or so. I just remember anything touching them was extremely uncomfortable for a day or so, and having a bra squish down on them would have been the worst so clear your plans!
I did like them though, but like most of my other peircings I have taken them out over time.

ahartig: Nope, went right back to my regular bras. I think I put some folded up tissue in there just so they didn’t bleed onto my bra.

ahartig: I have one pierced. I like asymmetry. It didn’t hurt getting it done, well, no more than other piercings. Mostly it’s uncomfortable for a few moments. The healing took me a few months. I wore a regular bra.
I would recommend getting one done at a time. The healing process was pretty straight forward, but there were periods when it hurt pretty bad if the ring got turned the wrong way. More like a quick moment of intense pain that would disappear quickly, but ack, not pleasant. Sensitivity didn’t change for me once it was healed. I don’t have any experience breast feeding, so no input there. In case you’re wondering I’m a 32 Dear Daughter and dont think I experience a prolonged healing time.

sparklesauce: Thank you so much for sharing!!! Deff not planning on hiking, i am planning on laying on the cuch braless after i get them done! lol
JerNCher: thank you very much for sharing! I need all the stories i can get to make an informed decision! I have heard that they can get crusties for the entire time that you have them. Is the scar from the one that you took out super noticable? Glad you told me about your tatas lol
allibeebee: ya, I have heard that some people have crusties the entire time they are in. I am leaning more towards trying it and then if i run into problems or dont think i can take it, then ill just take it out. lol Are the scars super noticable.
rubyrane: thank you very much for sharing. I wonder why they dont heal the same?! I would def stay away from loofahs and all that is lacy! lol
Sassygrn: Thank you very much for sharing! How long before you brest fed did you take them out, was it immediate, or was it a while before hand?!
Boxerlover24: Thank you for sharing. I have cleared my weekend if I were to get it done (this coming weekend!) my friend is getting something done. I was going with her, so I have been thinking more about doing stuff.
gloworms: thanks for sharing. I just am not sure i would get the other one done if I only did it one at a time and i dont think i would like the look of just one. But I will definately keep it in mind. Thanks!!!

ahartig: i got mine pierced when i was 19, i am 27 now and i still love them! it didn’t hurt too bad getting them done, a quick sharp pinch…but the sound was horrible… like i heard the needle ripping through the skin. that was the tough part. however, i have a pretty high pain tolerance and my piercings always heal pretty quickly. just make sure to follow the cleaning/care instructions they give you.
once, like 5 years after i got them pierced they both got really infected… i have no idea how but it was really painful, i had to do 2 rounds of antibiotics, but once they finally healed, i was glad i didn’t take them out.
there was definitely an increased sensitivity and i think they make my smallish boobs much more interesting haha (i am a small C in pushup bras)

ahartig: I took them out before knew was pregnant, and then got pregnant not to long after that.
