Ooh, how neat!  I have never been to NYC (it’s on our list!  hubby has never been, either) but I do have to say that I am tempted to take our XMAS cards with us tmrw and send them from Key West, our first port on our cruise!

There’s one under Rockefeller Center in the Concourse.  Just check the hours to make sure they’re open tomorrow.

You might want to head to the big post office on 33rd and 8th – it’s a bit out of your way, but it’s a BEAUTIFUL building, and you could take some adorable pictures as you drop them off at the post office.  If you’re doing the full tourist thing in NYC, it’s worth going to visit on its own.  It’s on the other side of Penn Station / Madison Square Garden, on 8th Avenue.  It’s the James Farley Post Office.

Thre is one right by radio city music hall, which is also next to Rock Center.  Its at 52nd street between 8th and 9th avenues.  But honestly, you can drop them in any of the blue mailboxes on a corner and they’ll still be stmaped with the NYC info.  Unless you’re looking to hand cancel.  Have fun being here this weekend!

If you’re just looking for the postmark there’s tons of letter drops allover the place too. There’s also a bunch in grand central that I know of – they’re some kind of brass and they’re cool looking too.

I’m with Gilneas the post office by MSG is really pretty. The steps alone are a photo op.

@ pmerr Bundle up! It’s 26degrees here & with the windchill it’s 13. I know you guys have cold up in Rochester, but there’s nothing as bitter as that wind around the buildings in Rock Cntr. Have Fun! 🙂

As others have said, if you just want the NYC postmark, then just drop them in a blue mailbox on just about any street corner. They are every couple of blocks along the avenues.

If you want to take the time to check out a post office itself then go with the recs from others above.
