@BurlapnLace: Haha too funny – my brother and my Fiance have the same name – I used to get the two mixed up in messages all the time.. I once sent a pic of roses my Fiance had delivered to my work for valenties to my brother saying ‘omg you’re amazing I love you’ bla bla bla.. my brother responded with ummm you’re welcome?? lol
Now I have them listed with surnames and a tonne of love hearts next to my FI’s name so I can tell them apart easily! I also tag my brother on facebook when I mean to tag my Fiance.. my brother just thinks its funny lol maybe I need to pay attention to what Im doing a bit more!

@BurlapnLace: Sooo in college a campus ministry I was part of had a game called spoon assassins – where we were given targets round robin style, and would hunt them down over weeks and try to hit them with plastic spoons to “Kill” them. It was ridiculous and jokingly stalkerly, yes, and it got pretty intense sometimes.
So one time I was hoping to get my “target” after a meeting he was in, and I was driving around so I handed my phone to my friend who happened to be a little dyslexic to text a mutual friend named Elvis to see if the kid I was after was around.
A couple minutes later I got a text back… From my old high school friend Elise who I had lost touch with, asking “wait, what?”
It turns out my dyslexic friend had texted “Don’t react to this message. I am trying to kill Yasha and I need your help. Go somewhere you can talk without others hearing you” to a girl I hadn’t talked to in over a year, and who probably thought I had gotten involved in the mafia or something.

@BurlapnLace: Can you IMAGINE what the bees would say to the boss’s wife if she posted about finding that text message in her husband’s phone, and his lame excuse for having it there? We’d be all, “GURL. OPEN YOUR EYES. DIVORCE THE ASSHOLE.” Thank god you didn’t send it, you may have broken up a marriage!

@lookingforadvice77: Good Lord!!! Yeah I can see that scenario. It just goes to show there are, indeed, two sides to every story. I know if I saw that on my FI’s phone, I’d have a FIT and there’d be NOTHING to say to get him out of it!

@BurlapnLace: OMG I would die! I’m glad you caught it!

Yiiiikes. You are so lucky you caught that!
I was once venting about my friend to my Darling Husband (boyfriend at the time). This was back when you could only type 100 characters per text and I realized I accidentally sent part of my vent to the friend I was venting about! I quickly tried to intercept the send but with that phone, clicking END during the sending process, sometimes would cancel the send or sometimes it would be too late and actually send. I tried to cover up by venting about something unrelated to my friend. I never foundo out if she actually got the text… but she never let on that she did and we’re still friends!

I had a boss at a summer job that was suuuuuuuuper creepy. He was always fixing my hair or rubbing my shoulders. Oh he was a creeper.
On my last day at the job he hugged me …for an awkwardly long time. I maneuvered out of it and he left for the night so thankfully I was supposed to never see him again.
I wrote a text to Darling Husband telling him I had the most awkward hug ever with hisnameboss…for some reason, it sent to the boss. He replied back with “why was it so awkward”.
Horrible. Thankfully it was my last day.

I have had two instance of shameful / funny emails.
I once sent an email to client where the last line said “please feel free to feel me” instead of “please feel free to contact me” – I had to call him and apologise, luckly he thought it was funny and even said “well we can try a drink and see where it goes from there haha!”
And once i sent someone a text saying “Im just having anal” – it was meant to say I’m just having a nap” that was very embarassing

@BurlapnLace: omg thank god you caught it! I send the wrong text to the wrong people all the time. Nothing super embarrassing, but most recently I text my friend “have a good day baby, can’t wait to snuggle tonight. Love you xxxx” to a friend instead of my SO. She text me back “love you too! ;-)” lol

@BurlapnLace: oh my gosh!! So glad you checked before hitting send!
I would change the boss’s name to ‘X – [name of boss]’ so that he is at the bottom of your contact list!
