isadelc507 :  A chunky cable knit sweater would work nicely, providing a contrast in textures and fit:

I don’t like the skirt and t-shirt at all. Sorry.

There is something that bothers me about the girl outfit. Too dressy and casual at the same time.what about a jean dress, boots and a red or plaid scarf? Or a red dress and black belt?

I like the skirt, the colors, and the plaid shirts, but I second the suggestion of a sweater or something other than the graphic tee. I don’t like the “mom life” tee. It makes the pictures all about the “mom life,” not the wonderful family sending me a Christmas card.

Can you just get basic maroon tee? I just don’t love the saying on your current inspiration. Also, I would get non-matching shirts for your husband & son.

The girl outfit is way too dressy. Men are too matchy.

I don’t like the mix of the glittery skirt with the flannel tops for the men.

The skirt is way too dressy/formal to pair with the flannel and khakis.  I don’t like the tshirt with the skirt either.

isadelc507 :  ¡Hola, compatriota de Rubén Blades, a quien adoramos en mi país!

You know, I would stick with your idea of wearing the gold skirt, paired with a more casual top as the one I suggested. First of all, it’s a somewhat different pairing, but not crazy: the mix of glamour – the gold skirt – and casual – the sweater. I wouldn’t recommend a plaid shirt for you, as it is precisely a solid, not printed top, that would provide additional visual interest among the guys’ plaid shirts.

I hate the ‘mom life’ T shirt.  A casual top can work with the skirt, but not this one.

The whole thing is just too matchy for me, do people really do this?

Oh, and maybe just one photo with a Santa Claus hat? wink
