Garlic Herb Thin Crust is one of our favs:
1tsp active dry yeast
2 cups of bread flour (you can use basic white flour also)
1/4 tsp salt
2 cloves minced or pressed garlic
1 tbs olive oil
2/3 cup luke warm water
You can either mix in a bread machine on dough setting or I put the ingredients in my KitchenAid Mixer mix to a form a ball. (you may need to add touch more water or flour sometimes). Put in greased bowl for 1.5 hours to let it rise.
Roll out dough to fit whatever pan you are using. Use flour on surface you are rolling dough out, I usually use a bit of corn meal to make the crust a bit more crunchy.
Bake at 425 (I usually use my pizza stone that has been heated in the oven already and prebake the crust about 5 to 7 min) then take out and top with whatever you want and cook until the right doneness for you

I usually buy a pre-made whole wheat pizza dough and top with jarred pizza sauce, a blend of shredded cheeses (usually mozzarella and provolone), a sprinkle of romano or parmesan, red pepper flakes and whatever toppings we feel like – usually ends up being pepperoni, mushrooms and roma tomato slices.

Ok so I make a KICK ASS mushroom truffle Pizza with Pesto and it’s AMAZING! It’s a gourmet pizza, but not too hard to make. Here is the recipe.
2 1/2 to 3 Cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 package regular or quick active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup very warm water
Mix 1 cup of the flour, the sugar, salt and yeast in bowl. Add 3 tablespoons olive oil and the warm water. Knead with your hands to all ingredients are incorporated. Stir in enough remaining flour until dough is soft and leaves sides of bowl. Place dough on lightly floured surface. Knead 5 to 8 minutes or until dough is smooth and springy. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and let rest for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes spread dough out evenly over pizza pan and brush crust sides with olive oil.
Alfredo Sauce(You can buy in the jar) Spread evenly over Pizza dough
Take an entire bunch of basil washed and put into food processor
add 1 clove of garlic and olive oil until mixture is a pesto consistency
Spread the Pesto mixture evenly over the Alfredo Sauce on the pan
Chop mushrooms up (whole carton) and place in sautee pan. Finely slice red onion (julienne style) and add to pan with mushrooms. Add about 2 tablespoons of White Truffle Oil to Pan, Sautee mushrooms and onions until onions are transparent. Spread mushroom mixture evenly over pesto on the pizza crust.
Grate whole milk mozzarella cheese and sprinkle over pizza. Add more uncooked julienne style red onion to the top and drizzle about 1 tablespoon White Truffle Oil over Pizza. Bake at 375 degrees for about 20 to 25 minutes (watch it so it doesn’t over cook, different ovens cook differently). Cheese on top should be lightly browned and bubbly, and outer crust should have risen.
