We both want 1-2 kids, probably sometime around 2017 ish. We’re both the oldest, so unless something happens, it’ll be the first grandbaby for both sides. Definitely going to be spoiled all around!

I haven’t really been bit with baby fever, but Fiance and I joke about it. I know are kids are going to be ridiculously spoiled. We’re both oldest children and the first to get married, and knowing our siblings (all brothers) we’ll likely be the first to have kids too. It’s going to be ridiculous. We have a bet on which set of parents will move to be closer to the grandkids first.

I think our future kids will be spoiled by both sides, but more so by my side. My mother has not restraint! lol

In different ways I guess, but definitely my side of the family. DH’s side is a little.. odd.

@FutureMuniz:  They are, they already have 2 grand babies though and I noticed a huge difference in their attitude with the second one, like the novelty wore off with the first one. They seem to make an effort when other people can see them, or they talk people’s ear off about them to “show off” but rarely spend quality time with them. I’m sure they’ll be excited when they find out and when the baby is first born. I’m just saying my family is going to be begging to babysit all the time, which is fine with me! I’d rather send our baby there anyway.

I say neither because I’m not sure. I feel like both sides of the family will.. but in different way.  My side of the family will probably spoil them with food and birthday presents.

Whereas his side of the family will probably take them on trips, or to shows, etc.

But then part of me is thinking neither because we have different beliefs in parenting/rearing then both of our families, and they generally respect that.

Also. His side of the family is dying a little bit more for grandchildren then mine is.

He only has one brother though, that sort of looks like him and his wife don’t really want children…

And my side, I have one older brother, but they aren’t really worried about grandchildren.  They know we will pro-create, ahaha. (and were both young, my brother and I. whereas the hubs and his only brother are 2 years apart, and hubs is 10 years older then me!)

But. Pretty sure when were pregnant, it’s gonna cause everyone to blow up.

But currently, we’re not planning for children right now. πŸ™‚

Both for sure. I’m an only child and DH’s sister is nowhere near having kids so our baby will be pretty exciting for both families.
