I always like to sit near the endzones to see the touchdowns up close.  This is probably because our student section was on an endzone and I just found it so fun when they’d run it in although I do see good points to midfield too.

My boyfriend asked what stadium the game would be in. He said it is dependent on the stadium what is a better location. Without knowing the stadium, he said he would probably pick midline in the nosebleeds though.

Definitely depends on the staduim.  Personally, mine would just love being there and wouldn’t be disappointed sitting anywhere.

I asked my Fiance and he said he would rather be close….”you can see the jumbo-tron for the other side”

Can you ask your boyfriend discreetly? I had been thinking about doing this for my Fiance for our anniversary this past summer, and when I was casually discussing a bus trip out to the stadium to feel him out, he started talking about how he’d never want to go to a game! He pointed out that it’s just dealing with crowds and you can’t truly see the action anyway. He’d rather watch it on TV where they zoom in and have replays.

But for what it is worth, I asked my Fiance your poll and he chose lower, close the field but by the goal line with the caveat that it depends on who the opposing team is! Not much help…

Like what Babyboo said, it really depends on the stadium, and also the person.

My FH can explain it much better than I can,

“If it’s a stadium with a high slope to the seating so your distance from the field is mostly up rather than away, I’d personally prefer the nosebleeds. You get a nice angle and can see all the action easily. If it would put you far away horizontally, then seats closer to the endzones – but still on the sides, not the actual end – would be preferred. Odds are that the nosebleeds are better for the price.”

I’d say unless you can get REALLY close seats on the goal line (like 10 rows up or better) I would go with higher, mid-field seats.  Never been to a pro football game but a lot of pro baseball and hockey games and would way rather see the whole field.  With goal line seats, you run the risk of missing up to 3/4 of the game if 1 team is dominating and/or the time or possession is seriously lopsided.

fi is a huge football fan and we would both rather sit higher and see the whole field any day.

Now that my guy knows what stadium it is he suggests the 200 section seats!
