lol i thinks its fine. most hispanics come late. btw where im from even in weddings people come later just to dance! its a hispanic thing. lol

@ddw: It depends, some families have a church ceremony and a party. I had a quince and we just had a party.

usually the ceremony is a priest blessing at church. but most of the time its just family members and padrinos that go. the party should be fun. especially when they do the secret dance:)

@ddw: It kind of is like a mini wedding haha. I remember afterwards I was like “I am NEVER having a wedding”. I had a “court” of 15 girls (basically bridesmaids), I danced with my dad, and I wore a big dress and a tiara. Not having had a ceremony I’m not entirely sure. I think the ceremony is about re-affirming your relationship with God now that you’re an “adult”.
