Oooh I’m going to look for that! Have you seen Being Elmo yet?! It’s AMAZING! It’s on Netflix 🙂

We watched Project X yesterday. Not bad. Not a thinking movie 😉 We were just vegging out and every other movie Darling Husband had was so bad we turned it off, LOL! Basically it’s about a kid who throws the party to end all parties for his birthday when his parents go away, and it spirals out of control. We had a few laughs. I’d give it somewhere around a 6.5/10.

I think the last movie I saw was the Outsiders – classic, haha. If you like the book, go for the movie. I had a great time watching the up-and-coming stars before they were stars and the movie has a sweet message.

The last movie I really enjoyed in theaters was the movie about cancer with Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, 50/50. I laughed, I cried, I am a clinical psych grad student so I laughed even more at the poor girl who tries to lead him through dealing with his illness. It’s a great look at a young man with cancer and I thought it might be a good representation of how he might deal with the diagnosis… a whole spectrum of emotions.

Last movie in theaters, MIB3. Loved it!

Last movie on Netflix, Hop. So it’s not exactly Eastertime, but it was still adorable and funny.

@bakerella:  Being Elmo is AMAZING.  The Jim Henson tribute had me teary eyed, but his during daughter’s sweet 16 I was bawling my eyes out.  Absolutely incredible!

The last movie I went and saw was American Reunion.  I really did not enjoy it.  It seemed like it dragged on forever

The last movie I watched was just randomly on HBO and it was called “Catfish.” It is a documentary about a man who starts having an online relationship with this family, and eventually starts to fall in love with one of the girls, who he has never met. It was really interesting b/c stuff like this happens all the time with people chatting with strangers, falling for them, and then once meeting them realize their dirty little secret!

I just saw “To Rome with Love,” Woody Allen’s latest film. I thought it was really cute. Not deep or anything, and there were a couple of slow points, but really cute and entertaining. Good for a night when you just want to have some laughs, look at pretty surrounding, and not think too much.

The last movie I watched was The Avengers.  I loved it – perfect summer action movie.  It is fun, and doesn’t take itself too seriously.  Plus, a lot of eye candy 🙂

I took Fiance to see Rock of Ages on father’s day!  It was super fun (read “fun”, not necessarily “good”) and Tom Cruise was very impressive.

Yesterday I saw “Seeking a Friend for the End of the World.”  I really liked it!!  It was advertised more as a comedy, so if that is what you go in expecting you might be a bit disappointed.  It definitely did have funny moments, but I found myself crying a ton during the last 30 minutes of the movie.  Definitely made me think!!  My husband really enjoyed it as well!

I’ll review the last two–since one of them I was really excited about, and the other I was kinda dreading, but ended up enjoying.

The second-to-last movie we saw was Shame.  I had heard and read excellent things about it (as well as the full-frontal male nudity it affords viewers), but it was really slow and depressing.  It did illustrate this man’s shame and struggle with his sex addiction, and you just end up feeling so sorry for his whole life.  It just seems like his existence was really sad, pathetic, lonely, and isolated.  And the movie itslef was slow, slow, slow.  Not much dialogue, long slow shots that were tedious at some points.  Overall the whole thing was just such a downer, though I know it was supposed to be.

The last movie we got from Redbox and it was Contraband.  I generally like these types of heist/criminal/against the clock movies (this one had scenes that reminded me of Heat) and the reivews were about 50/50, but it entertained us.

@mrs_pugetsound:  I heard mixed things about it, but I thought it looked sweet, funny, if not a little sad, too!  I want to see it!

@bakerella:  We watched Project X yesterday, too. I found it entertaining in a “Holy shit! If I ever did that my parents would have ripped me to shreds.” kind of way.

We also watched Wanderlust which I thought was pretty good. I’m too lazy to type up what it was about so I’ll just link the IMDb. I’d give it a 7/10.
