While I realize this is not everyones taste in music, I just had to share this.
I saw the absolutely most amazing concert in my life last night. Sade was beyond amazing. My Fiance and my BFF didn’t even really know much about her (they are both males and both in their upper 20’s). They both said it was the most amazing concert that they’ve ever seen. I was truly blown away. Sade is truly a class act, talented, stunning, creative…. beautiful.
Her concerts are always sold-out. Was hoping there was some other bee’s that got to experience it, too!
Thank you to my father (RIP)… because of him, I was humming Sade songs in the 80’s and have loved her ever since. I know he had to be watching last night. : )
Even if Sade is not your thing, perhaps you can share a concert that is burned in your memory because it was just “that good”.

Her CD’s are amazing for romance!! I haven’t seen her in concert … but I’m very familiar with her CDs 😀 ….. It’s so amazing when the concert holds up to their music that they put out

@HisIrishPrincess: Yes, it is! Actually, her concert blew her CD’s out of the water. She performed beyond any expectation. It’s truly stunning. If interested, go on youtube and look up some of your favorites, I’m sure she did them for this concert. There is a ton on youtube of different Soldier of Love shows. She sang non-stop for 2 hours and 20 mins!

@Mrs.Firefly1: I love Sade (thanks to my Mum playing it in the 80s) I had her Best Of CD on in the car this week. Would like to see her live, lucky you.

@CatyLady: It’s probably a longshot and I don’t know if you’d be willing to travel, but I wanted to let you know she is heading to Europe in November! ; )
Your Mum has great taste in music : ) Did you grow up in England? The Best of CD is a favorite of mine as well. I’m really thinking she’ll eventually come out with a DVD of the concert, if so, you should pick it up!

@Mrs.Firefly1: Ooh that’s great I’ll take a look. Hope she is in the UK. Yeah I’ve always lived here. Actually I’ve got a DVD of hers, but haven’t watched it in a long time, I may put it on later now.

I love her. I used one of her album promo shots as my avatar when I first joined the Bee. I missed her this go around cause my finances are just to tight, But I saw her last concert in MSG all those years ago. She is perfection.

@Mrs.Firefly1: I haven’t seen her in concert but man I’ve always loved her music. Her voice is like suede to me, or luxurious like leather. I’m jealous of your concert!

@CatyLady: The show is truly an amazing experience, you would enjoy it very much. You’ll have to let me know if you do go later this year. If not, like I said, I’m sure a DVD will come out!
@bklynbridetobe: This was my first concert of hers. Intoxicating… that is one of the best words I can use to desribe it. Like I told Prewitt, you should look for the DVD at a later time, definately worth the $25 bucks or whatever it’ll cost!
@SweetRose2011: That is one smooth woman, and I said it earlier – I swear, her real life voice blows her CD’s out of the water. There is nothing like her voice live. Her acoustics were fasinating. Feel free to check some out on youtube!
@disashter: Exact same concert! John Legend opened, I meant to add that. This concert is truly burned into my memory. She commanded the attention in her quiet sultry way (it was intoxicating) of a huge sold out arena (where Michael Jordan played). Hands down, the best concert I’ve ever been to!
