Shortly after the wedding, I ‘divorced’ my esthetician/waxing lady. I heard from another friend that she double dipped when waxing and it grossed me out. Since then, the same friend said she no longer double dipped.
I haven’t gone back (because I don’t want to see her, after I stopped going there) but now I’m desperate, going on a trip, and can’t get an appointment with the lady I started seeing in the meantime.
Plus, my original lady does AMAZING brow work and I’ve missed it so.
But, I’m scared she’ll hold a grudge. I also know she’ll be professional… but… It’s just SO awkward.

PM me if you want a recommendation for an amazing waxer in the LA area who doesn’t double dip and uses hard wax.
I think if you do go back to your lady it’ll be fine. She’s a professional, (hopefully).

@sunnywoods: I had been going to her for 10+ years, and she knows WAY too much about me (and where I work, etc).
@Meowkers: Just PM’d you… so excited! 🙂 It’s for brows/lip… mostly concerned about brows. 🙂

Maybe look on Yelp too, for other people in your area?

@oracle: Just sent you the info. But for brows have you ever considered threading? I switched to that a few years ago and I love it.

@Meowkers: I’ve never tried it, but I’d definitely consider it… do you have a fav threader in the area? 🙂
